You should have reskined the combine weapons with the USP -> Glock, SMG1 -> MP5 M203, AR2 -> M4 M203, Grenade to old school mark 2 frag, & shotgun to SPAS-12 using skins from FPSbanana AKA Gamebanana (dot) com. If you could do that in a remake of this then it would be perfect. Over all though its a pretty dam good attempt.

Major detail problem!

The vortigaunts have no collars or shackles. They were enslaved in HL1

I can't wait for the BMS release, but this is one detail they seriously need to address if they want this game to be perfect. Although, I guess they can always add it as a custom model post-release.
