The source of buzzing is the transformer in a loose case. If they made the casing tighter there wouldn't be any buzzing. I "cured" mine by putting a fat rubber pad inside the case. You can test this by lightly tightening the monitor case with your hands on the sides of the monitor. That's how I found that by tightening the right side of the case the buzzing goes away.
This is an impromptu 3:30am video I made for Samsung UK. Have a look at the number of reports in the description link on the right of the video or google for humming or buzzing monitors. There are plenty of reports of problems with the brightness regulator in your newer panels.
Samsung; please wake up and address the problem!
In the meantime, I'll await my seventh replacement monitor :(
I took back my Samsung 58b550. Buzzing gave me a headache.
Store traded it out for a Panasonic 58s1 -- pure silence.
Samsung.....you better wake up to product quality, it only takes a few models to tank your credibility!

my brand new 32 inch led samsung tv is buzzzung too :( but only sometimes..
phoned samsung,sending a repairman..we shall see..
