I remember thinking "no wonder these cars were so popular in the 80s and 90s" when I first bought it for $200 - the thing ran like a top and was real comfortable to drive.
If I ever relapse and buy another car, I think it would have to be another cheap Tempo.
i feel this is the same for me aswell. i like riding my bike more than driving. though driving is quicker, its just more frustrating and boring. biking is fun and free. good luck with your biking
Thanks so much :) I've put on well over 1000 miles so far on my bikes! And I love the evening commute from work because I pass all the traffic in the parking lanes :P
Holy crap you're right! Awesome! My car was the one in the background (the one in the foreground looks like a Mercury Topaz because of the slightly different taillights).
Seriously, we all do. I always thought other people were instigators of road rage 100% of the time, but now I realize it's much more like 50/50. Because I'm alone 98% while driving my car, there's nobody to comment on my actions as a driver.
Oddly, not so with a bicycle. Sure I sometimes get scared when cars don't give enough room, but I'm much calmer in terms of dealing with it. Maybe it has something to do with being exposed to the elements and having much better visibility?
Hear hear, cars suck. I have one, but it's about dead. I'm not repairing or replacing it once it breaks again.
I bike almost everywhere, including work, which is 15 miles away.

Hey! That car was AMAZING for $200.

I'd take the Tempo over my POS bike. Road rage is normal, road rage is funny (sometimes).

What's wrong with your bike? Maybe it just needs a tune up?

Its a cheap ass walmart bike. I would get a new one but since Im getting my license in a few month, I figure I might as well just wait.

You've gone this long without a driver's license? Why get one now?

I get a little crazy as well when driving!
