Andras Schiff is one of the greatest masters of fine detail alive. There's no part of the repertory he doesn't play well, but his Mozart and Bach are finely wrought almost beyond compare. He, Agi Jambor, Gould (sometimes!) and Angela Hewitt make an excellent for performing Bach on the piano. Those who claim the pianoforte is not the "correct" instrument for this music aren't using their ears very well.
Landowska, however, remains my favorite Bach interpreter.
the first part of the prelude is a little different than ABRSM's score version... @.@

A beautiful performance of one of my favourites from the 48. Schiff is one of the best exponents of Bach in my opinion.

At least with this piece of G sharp minor, Schiff's is much better than Gould's. You wouldn't agree?
