@bryaneffinturner Bullitts were not made in 07. Only in 01, 08, and some in 09. And they have cam(s). They didn't put pushrod motors in those cars. And I will only SOMEWHAT believe your claim of beating a Stang GT with bolt-ons and cams if your auto GTO is an LS2, because I used to own an 01 Bullitt with catback only, and beat an auto LS1 GTO from 40 to 120 by 2 car-lengths, and ran damn near dead even with a Charger SRT8 from a dig to 90.

If you are watching you will notice that the GTO Won and hit the brake lights first then the slow ass mustang brakes. The car that was beside the camera car catches up to the mustang and that is what you see on the left. Look ahead of that car thats the GTO. But beside all that the camera man sucks.

plus i actually spent less on my '01 ws6. $10,335 because the dealer didnt know what he had. i recently dropped $1,900 in it for 228R cam kit, Pacesetter LT's and catless exhaust, SLP lid and tune and it runs 12.28 @ 108mph. it ran 13.2 bone stock. id say i got my money's worth by only spending $1,900 and shave a second off my time. fuck buying a termi when i can get performance like that for that cheap.

Close, but not quite. They started equipping the Cobra with a supercharger in 2003, and carried it over into 2004. The last N/A Cobra was the 2001 model. And I've heard people claiming that the Cobra was supposed to have made 410 bhp, but I have my doubts. If it really made 410 it would run a little faster than it does. Especially given that the 2002 Camaro SS ran nearly equal times with less hp and taller gearing. And the 2005-06 GTO could run just as quick with more weight and taller gearing.
idk the 03-04 cobras ran mid 12s given that its only a 4.6 with a eaton s/c running a max of like 9psi that is damn good. but google it or you could even look up stock 03-04 cobras on here they have vids of stock termis dyno around 390 some even go higher, but if you wanna make serious power in them you can buy a smaller pulley for like 100 bucks get higher boost and you will have 500+rwhp and a low 12 high 11 sec car
I'm not going to argue that they can make good horsepower and turn decent times for just a little money and work. But, the stock Terminator Cobras only put down an average of 360 rwhp. Which, when you figure in a 10% power loss through the drivetrain, only equals the factory 390-400 hp rating. Idk where everyone comes up with the 430 bhp, because it's definitely not true, and I can explain the math that proves this.

Chevy thinks 6.1 liter works in a 4,000+ lb car I.E. the camaro. That is ONLY .7 liters or 42 cu. in. more. plus the modular motor is by far more advanced than the ls motors.

Shelby is nearly a marketing tool. Shelby isn't building their engines, SVT does. The supercharger on the ford engines isn't to make up for lack of power, they utilize it becasue it performs better on modular multi-valve engines. They dont use a blower on a 32v v8 because it works better with a blower.ANYTHING works better with a blower. If anything a 32v v8 should be the last motor to need a blower because of the high flowing 4 valve heads.
The GT is not even that fast lol... it has 321 hp from the crank so you can figure about 265 at the wheels... that ofcourse is the 09.. i have no clue if the '10 is even faster but im sure it is... but what u say is true.. i have an '06 GTO and i dusted a GT. and my car was stock at the time
not Mustang GT, Shelby GT500 which stock (2009/2010) have 540hp and do 0-60 in 4.1 and 1/4mile in 12.3 or less w/ an experienced drag racer...GTO<GT500 the shelby just looks 100x better too.

You guys are gay. The GT500 weights the same as the GTO but has bags more TQ and HP. The stock GT500s reliably run lows 12s...late GTOs run a high 12 or a flat 13.000
Over and over on the street they have shown to be WAY faster than GTOs,
Some sumin' is up, either the GT500 needs a driver change, or there is no 680hp GT500, or the GTO is modded out the yin yang. But get over it or you'll have a nasty surprise next time you roll up to a Shelby.
I own a GTO and have to agree, stock for stock the GT500 is a much tougher car to race against from a roll, from a dig they may be equal to maybe 30mph then the GT500 will be up to speed it needs to get the traction.

plus i actually spent less on my '01 ws6. $10,335 because the dealer didnt know what he had. i recently dropped $1,900 in it for 228R cam kit, Pacesetter LT's and catless exhaust, SLP lid and tune and it runs 12.28 @ 108mph. it ran 13.2 bone stock. id say i got my money's worth by only spending $1,900 and shave a second off my time. fuck buying a termi when i can get performance like that for that cheap.

Close, but not quite. They started equipping the Cobra with a supercharger in 2003, and carried it over into 2004. The last N/A Cobra was the 2001 model. And I've heard people claiming that the Cobra was supposed to have made 410 bhp, but I have my doubts. If it really made 410 it would run a little faster than it does. Especially given that the 2002 Camaro SS ran nearly equal times with less hp and taller gearing. And the 2005-06 GTO could run just as quick with more weight and taller gearing.

idk the 03-04 cobras ran mid 12s given that its only a 4.6 with a eaton s/c running a max of like 9psi that is damn good. but google it or you could even look up stock 03-04 cobras on here they have vids of stock termis dyno around 390 some even go higher, but if you wanna make serious power in them you can buy a smaller pulley for like 100 bucks get higher boost and you will have 500+rwhp and a low 12 high 11 sec car

I'm not going to argue that they can make good horsepower and turn decent times for just a little money and work. But, the stock Terminator Cobras only put down an average of 360 rwhp. Which, when you figure in a 10% power loss through the drivetrain, only equals the factory 390-400 hp rating. Idk where everyone comes up with the 430 bhp, because it's definitely not true, and I can explain the math that proves this.

Chevy thinks 6.1 liter works in a 4,000+ lb car I.E. the camaro. That is ONLY .7 liters or 42 cu. in. more. plus the modular motor is by far more advanced than the ls motors.

Shelby is nearly a marketing tool. Shelby isn't building their engines, SVT does. The supercharger on the ford engines isn't to make up for lack of power, they utilize it becasue it performs better on modular multi-valve engines. Lastly why do you hate so much on a car that is supposedly underrated, but apparently intimidates you? Sorry but that bow tie is nothing more than a welfare stamp, go enjoy your Government Motors. By the way the GT is also supercharged.

Your right about shelby but they use a supercharger because they cant make more horsepower then what the 03 04 mach1 made N/A. Remember 1999 and the lawsuits ford had about their fabulous over rated horsepower numbers with the fabulous 32v 4.6l v8? LOL.. thats why they use a blower.
They dont use a blower on a 32v v8 because it works better with a blower.ANYTHING works better with a blower. If anything a 32v v8 should be the last motor to need a blower because of the high flowing 4 valve heads.

You guys are gay. The GT500 weights the same as the GTO but has bags more TQ and HP. The stock GT500s reliably run lows 12s...late GTOs run a high 12 or a flat 13.000

Some sumin' is up, either the GT500 needs a driver change, or there is no 680hp GT500, or the GTO is modded out the yin yang. But get over it or you'll have a nasty surprise next time you roll up to a Shelby.

I own a GTO and have to agree, stock for stock the GT500 is a much tougher car to race against from a roll, from a dig they may be equal to maybe 30mph then the GT500 will be up to speed it needs to get the traction.
