  • Did some stones fell? =[

  • I consider going to stonehenge for the first time, to be my greatest life experiance-so far...

  • sucks that stonehenge has been taken over by some corporate asshole claiming the stones for personal gain

  • Which corporate asshole is this?

  • Merci pour cette visite; cela doit être impréssionnant de les voir.

    Merci.

  • Did you have to pay extra to be on an access tour?

  • @emoamazing It works out at twice the price of normal admission. You miss the crowds & see it as it was meant to be seen. Worth thinking about, but they are getting very popular too.

  • I was lucky enough to visit Stonehenge a few yars ago. I was there very early in the morning before sunrise... no tourists... just fog and crows.

Still the stones were all warm to the touch...

Surrounded by fog Stonehenge is breathtaking and once the sun comes up...

There is something very special about this place

  • does anyone know if it had a roof on it?

  • Enjoyed your video. How did you get lucky enough to actually walk up amongst the stones? We weren't allowed to. It must be windy there alot, it was windy the day I went to see Stonehenge too. Check out my video of it and let me know what you think.

  • These were built by the jews after they built the pyramids.

  • @atlast17 hahaha that's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You are an utter moron.

  • Thanks. It almost looks like we are there.

  • the druids no one knows who they were...or what they were doing

  • the stones did,nt come from wales, as previously thought, but down the road near marlbrough, plus the english didnt just appear, there a mixture of god knows how many ancient british tribes, races etc...the english take credit...its in England for fucks sake

  • the romans came first I believe, they built structures but they were torn down by the english who wanted to rid of all roman influences in England.

  • Stonehenge was built 3100 years BEFORE the Romans invaded England.

  • The people who built it take credit, not England. You speak like England should take credit like as if you should take your own pride in it. lol your a fool

  • You're all wrong... I built stonehenge. With my bare hands

  • PLAY THIS GAME about Stonehenge on my channel

  • Dont it make you sick like always the english takes credit 4 what is not theirs. The British celts(Welsh/Cornish) built this, the bluestones were carried from west wales to where it lies today! the english have nothing to do with this, it was built before they got off their boats in 450 AD!

  • it was built before the celts, picts, and welsh too.

  • It was built by the ancient Britons my friend, who came to be the Brythonic Celts who came to be (welsh/Cornish/Cumbric.

    Diolch yn fawr

  • i'm aware of that....but to say it was built by the celts would indicate that it was built during the time of the celts, and it was not

  • Not that the indo-european invading celts even existed.

  • Many of those "ancient Britons" would be the ancestors of current inhabitants of Salisbury Plain - in other words English,by political and cultural definition. There is a strong "Celtic" strain in the old Wessex heartland, which mixed pretty effectively with the Anglo-Saxon. Don't forget," Cheddar Man",an inhabitant of 9000 year vintage, was found to be a direct ancestor of the local schoolteacher-- who would be considered,by all norms,as English !

  • dont u just want to kick one down?

  • We stood in there at the sunset one evening. It was wonderful!

  • vaya pedazo de guijarros niño! eso lo monto una grua o algo

  • you are soo luky my dream is going there and im going next next year

  • impresionante,parker pearson , investiguen ese nombre

  • haha it looks really small on tv! or it is and those are just tiny people!

  • Here is a wish for my friend Billie to go there soon!!! Thanks for posting this wonderful video.

  • I always thought it was made by pre-anglo vikings about 3,000 bc.

  • no ancient Celtic Cornish settlement

it was built 1000 yrs before the pyramids of Egypt

  • Great video!

  • I know pagan is thought to be the ancient druids. but didnt they figure out it was made before the druids. pretty long before.

  • i pass this everytime i go to my nan's house. i love it there

  • i just wanna stand in the middle of stonehenge at night and yell "why are u here?!!!!" lol...i think something might happen

  • I'm suprised there weren't more tourists

  • i was on a special access tour we were the only ones alowed in at that time.

  • I see, I'd love to go there

  • :D thanks for filming!! :D I hope i get there one day

  • im going there in february!!! im so excited:)

  • yo e stado ste año pero a mi no me dejaron acercarme a el

  • it's very strange. stonehenge is on the side of the highway. you get off the road, park in the lot, walk under the road and you're there. i guess i am used to tourist trap america. lol

  • How did those men lift those stone's on top of eachother?

  • they used a crane :)

  • my friend, thats part of the mystery... !

  • oh i would like to visit there..

  • awesome

  • I see you did the tour thing like I did when I went. I went a week before summer solstice, and there wasn't an actual person talking about the stones, though. It was a wonderful experience!

For anyone interested in visiting Stonehenge or all of England- I'd recommend staying in Netheravon(or a small village). It gives you a sense of English life. I rented a cottage so it was more "realistic" than a hotel.

  • you are so lucky to have visited stone henge.. what an amazing expierience.. thank you for sharing this footage

    blessed be

  • This has always been one of my top 3 places that I want to visit. It is indeed a very marvelous structure at Stonehenge. Yes they are just rocks but the history and stories add to its already amazing features. One day though I'll be there I hope. Oh yeah and why do you all hate on Pagans? I worked with a girl who is Pagan and she is just like anybody else. Fuck all you haters!!

  • Thanks for sharing, I'm glad they have it opened up again so you can walk around.

  • amen, cheshzyre! ummm ... im not pagan. im a veeeery messed up cristian. but i agree!

  • i wonder what would happen if we blew it up :D

  • it would be the end of the world 8DD lol

  • Have a look at Thornborough Henge on YouTube - it's 12 times bigger than Stonhenge and needs protecting! Please take a look.

  • all pagans end up in hell

  • you are closed minded and if we pagans are heading to hell we will meet you there because we at least accept people for thier diferences and share life for humanity not an elitest asshole members only club you seem to belong to. keep your anti semetic style remarks to yourself and try to become a beter person by accepting diveristy because we all killed the last group that repressed people for thier religious belifes you remember the nazis right? ......dickhead!

  • Keep talking, please. It's quite hilarious.

  • im sorry but .. what is a pagan? OR should i say Where are pagans from?

  • oh well then i'll see you there ass wipe

  • where is this stonehenge??? i would like 2 kno i wanna find it on google earth :D

  • ....this stonehenge? try thee stone henge and its in england

  • how did you get that close?

  • stonehenge was a time travel port hole which was sort of like stargate sg1,it has been replaced by a tdu and is no longer needed as a way of trangressing through time.

  • stonehenge was made by aliens for orgy partys!

  • Hist otto motolio di parolle, mas jigosiost farh palio ereh pasa arhi eltheto.Hiris kote olon tilo otto helios di manetto.Fashelita moni...

  • Ótimo video, fantásticas imagens desse círculo de pedras!

  • This is a (inactive) door to other dimensions. but i never will tell how to active this _

  • you live with eddie dont you

  • i am a time traveller (fact) from the year 3020 earth is suffering from a dense fog. the chemical release from the railway crash in the uk in a couple of weeks time will help us treat our dense fog.how did the human race get out of this time period is really amazing, savages, all greedy, help yourselves. this is why the earth is suffering because of this time period. over 44 ppl perish in railway crash pray for them.

  • Im a time-travller too, no really... I swear.

  • hey bring us a video from the past plz :D

  • chuj

  • actually a really common belief is that it was built by the druids, and that it was a sacrificial monument to the sun.

  • ssij

  • Thanks for the close up of the stones! I like to consider that the stones were "poured" into place.

  • Excellent!

  • wow good footage. beautiful.

  • There's no need to call each other names. The truth is NOONE knows for sure how it was made. Everyone has their theories.

  • now, you're the smart one.(no offense to the other ppl)

  • k, everyone that commented are idiots cause it was built by ancient people to determen the stars pattern in the sky.

i learned that in grade 9, whats wrong with you people?

  • your a fuckin idiot for saying

the dilemma is not who it was built by but rather how they managed to drag/place such massive pieces of stones at such an early timeline in history. what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • again ur a fuckin idiot. they put them in that exact spot to determen star patterns and they dragged them over to that spot over sea in gigantic boats and used slaves to drag the stones on land.

i also learned that in grade%2

  • So... what you learned in grade 2 is fact and people are "fucking idiots" for saying it's not nessicarily true? for one, there were no "slaves", and nobody knows what it's for so stop pretending you know everything. There's loads of ideas for what it was.. It's actually more likely that it's a calendar or something to do with the sun than it is to do with stars anyway.

  • k, i dont know everything, and i learned that in grade 9, and your saying there were no slaves 3-5 thousand years ago?

k ur ur a complete retard, and yeah, it was used exatly for that purpose, which is to determin star patterns by ancient people.

  • Just because something took a lot of work dosn't mean it was built by slaves... There very well may have been slaves in Britain back then, but they weren't very civilized at that time, so it's unlikely. Besides, slave labor is terrible for monuments, they want it built right, if you force someone to do something they will half ass it. The pyramids and cathedrals were HUGE projects, neither of which were created by slaves.

  • and again, HOW do you know it was built for stars? That's complete speculation, and the purpose is disputed by people who have studied the place their entire lives. I suppose that can be solved by you stating anyone who disagrees is a "retard"?

  • k, cathedrails werent, but the pyramids most definatly were. over 60 000 people slaves died making 1 pyamid, and how i "know" how it was used for determaning star patterns is because scients compared it with other acient areas that were used to study stars and were almost identical in formation if all the stones were in the right place, which they are not right now, but wre when it was made. and people have been "civilized" since 3000 b.c.

  • they had cities, builings, teachers and arts and crafts way back then, and even before then. so becuse u disagree with me doesnt mean ur a retard, when u have know idea what ur talking about, that there were no slaves in anient eroupe, people weren't "civlized "back then when some arts and arctitecture dates back to 3000 b.c. means you are. its not what you think or not, its what actually happened.

  • No, the pyramids actually weren't built by slaves, for the most part at least. Like I said, do you think the pharaoh would want second class workers building the place he was going to spend the afterlife in? Maybe they DID use slaves to drag rocks, but we will never really know how many there were, but that's not really important to my point. All I was saying is it's very possible to create massive monuments without slave labor.

  • didn't the egyptians get there insperation from salisbury hill, and we done alot of trade with them, including ship building, and raw materials, oh and knoldge trade(philiosphy, space, religion, mathmatics, and culture) ect.

  • Notice I use "civilized" as an adjective, not as a black or white issue. People did not all advance equally around the world, and this is still true today.. Ancient England was NOT very civalzed at the time, compared to other places in the world, as they were essentually still in the dark ages.

  • And once more, no you do not know that stonehenge has anything whatsoever to do with stars. I'm not trying to say it dosn't, just that nobody knows, and that the theory you heard is no better than the hundreds of other ones, suggested by people who spend their life studying stonehenge.

  • and there wasn't slaves then it was against the pagan religion

  • Despite the fact that you're a complete disregard for the basics of English grammar you believe you have the right to call someone else mentally disabled?

  • Lucky...when i went there we couldnt go up to it either...guess next time im doing a special access tour!

  • How did you get in? It's circled-off from my visit.

  • they alow special access tours if you look for them they allow a small number in through the year

  • people believe that Stonehenge was created by aliens, and is a signal type thing for them too...i think it was from a game, but w/e, i kind of believe it too. i mean why would they justpop out right?

  • one of my top 3 places I have too see still...can't wait to experience it.

  • good footage the wind makes it seem eerie

  • Problem is: Nobody knows who build it, what it means exactly and why it is built.....very interesting theme

  • we did it was something to do with the pagan religion, it's not who created it they know, but why and how
