  • Not even a mixer truck at the hopper when the pump comes on. True play acting.

  • Sorry WorkSafe BC but the video rates a D minus.

The hose whipping scene is not based on fact or actual pumping practices, as the posts below confirm.

Even the pump is short-rigged for no apparent good reason.

The rebar incident is a better representation, although again the staging is poor.

  • hose guy wearing a 75 dollar polo...hahaha

  • @HeinxStrugel good guessing that maybe they all are actors :D

  • Yeah. a worksafe video doesn't happen the same as real life. There was no safety rail near the edge, and as someone else said the pumpy would normally prime the line away from workers.

  • a plastic cap wouldnt have done anything in that case.

anyone on the crew should have taken 5 minutes to cut it off.

but things happen, we all know.

  • Why is there one rebar sticking out of that interor footer?

  • may be the pumper and the hose man worked together for a long time and the pumper was tired of his bullshit so maney assholes on jobs sites???

  • when you first start to pump nobody holds the hose, iam saying a accident like this can't happen when you are doing a video try to make it look more real, where are the caps on the rebar???

  • @scubaeddie32

I agree. Most pump operators will prime the pump away from the work so that the grout or slip packs won't go into the pore. And the caps on the rebar would have helped as well.

  • there should be cap's over rebar

  • Very good work, I am so glad you guy are doing this work.
