I have this game, yes the AI can be absalutly retarded, but for the most part its the best AI i have ever encountered in a game, they do their own things and gun fights play out differently every time (try replaying the same level with different tactics). Its really good.
have u tested out DR ai? Have you noticed it takes them like four minutes to even hit you from about 200m away while you just pick them off causually. Have you noticed it takes about thirty seconds for the Ai to kill you from 200m away in Arma 2 while you kill about two? Arma 2 abducts DR in a van promising them chocolate and then proceeds to rape it

That is a mod, NOT the vanilla game and yes i have seen in and while it makes the AI better i find that the overall game can simply not compete with arma 2. Planes, much better vehicle modules, mission editor has no limits MASSIVE community, Dragon Rising is simply defeated by Arma 2 there is no denying it. Whilst i will give CM this, it was their first attempt i knew theyd fuck up, red river looks decent

There's no change in gameplay or AI when you change the difficulty.
Difficulty difference is measured by how much HUD elements are provided (which are much more important to a player in this kind of game). Normal has it all. Waypoints, objective locations, etc. Experienced takes away objective locations and IR strobe waypoints. Hardcore takes away EVERYTHING but subtitles. You have to rely on the map and Quick Command menu to shwo you what the HUD used to.
yes this game is rushed it was gonna be awesome but it sucked also tip for the future only tape the part where the AI is failing not you running around after.
CoD: MW2 (not cod6) is better from a in your face first person shooter perspective... but from a military simulation fps perspective OFDR is the best so far

It does take around nine hours actually, you need a glitch to free roam. AI is pretty good, don't know hwat was up with this; probably modded. But true it is not a sandbox game but they never said it would be.

Its a great game! Its defiantly a different game compared to the norm. Its a tactical FPS that offers more then one way to complete and objective. It's all objective based and dependent not body count like 90% of FPS. I did manage to beat it on normal in under 10 hours. But with higher difficulty, the game defiantly kicks it up a notch. The AI is rather smart and is an amazing achievement for an AI the operates in a non-linear environment. Of course with every game there will be bugs found.
i havent had this problem. ok sometimes the friendly AI walks in ur line of sight etc. but iv only had very few problems with AI online. you cant judge a game over one bit of bad gameplay out of a fantastic game :P
ROFL The AI in OFDR is really bad. One time I was playing campaign with my friend and we told the friendly AI to follow us down a hill. We get to the bottom and look back to find them all spreading out in different directions. It was at this point that I snapped the joke "Um, lets split up gang and search for clues?". LOL I also love how the AI shoots at enemies on stealth missions when you tell them to hold their fire.
I'm not forgetting anything. They sucked for consoles because it's about the tools. Of course an RTS or MMO on a console is gonna suck. You just can't play those games effectively with a goofy controller with only a few buttons. The RTS/MMOs scream Keyboard and Mouse (108+ keys). If you actually USE a keyboard and mouse on your 360 (or whatever), then they would prolly come off better.

Consoles can't handle what a PC can, that's why 1) There are much more players in MW1 for the PC online.
2) Crysis was never released for consoles.
3) You can only game in 1080p while we can go upwards to 1920p
4)You're getting a dumbed down version of Battlefield BC2
