there was a TV special..with the Troggs & a rock -flamenco band...and on it the words to 1984 are different slightly.....David Bowie was always Arena sized productions ....when punk started he sort of endorsed Devo...and under his endorsment they were to "big" to appear @ CBGB's...they went right to "the bottom line"...... later Devo played CBGB to show they were humble i guess

The 8 track days if you were cruzin in a car. You always had to have a book of matches handy to use as a wedge if the tape was acting weird. The best concerts (2) one the matinee at 2:pm ,then the evening concert at O'Keefe Center Toronto ,in June 1974...if you did not attend thes, well don't come back to school after that summer baby doll..david comes to Toronto a few times per year...he and Iman have several friends here...met him 3 times and he is always such a really funny guy...sense of humor to beat the band...so intelligent ...all best to my y.t. friends..I will post the two photos i have of David and Iman..best to all
