Whats more, the real reason such violence is forthcoming is that its protagonists are unhappy with the western influence of christian culture,not christianity per say. I am an indian christian and not once in the 17 years that Ive lived in India have i ever experienced any form of discrimination- religious or otherwise. Neither I nor any of the other christian brethren i know have ever been subject to violence of any sort. That is not to say that violence against christians is completely absent in India, only that it is sporadic and rare- just like the racist violence in the States or in Germany for instance.
