The fact is is that odds of life being out there in the universe is a 99.9999999% chance. But them being here already is hard to believe. Especially since the government and NASA just started a brand new multi million dollar plan to find other life. But as we know the government is excellent at covering things up. So we really dont know.

@mysideofthecouch People who are much smarter than you have calculated the odds of there being alien life. The fermi paradox for example. You can not claim as a matter of fact that life exists elsewhere in the universe because the variables are far to large and uncertain. The only fact is, we do not know, it's as simple as that.

@mysideofthecouch the odds are whatever variables you put into the calculation, which was my point. If you change the parameters slightly you only get one life form in the universe, us. If you change it another way you get billions. As I said the variables are too uncertain because of our limited knowledge of the universe and conjecture on alien life is probably, therefore, pointless.

He claims the new element gives a gravity wave which is in anti-phase to earths gravity, They repel and the thing lifts off. He also claims anotehr mode of operation for distance travel. They have now produced this element in the lab and found it to be unstable! It may be an isotope of the element or some such - I am not a chemist.

the fundamental problem is that Einstein said that gravity is not a field, and although this has not been proven, it is still far more widely accepted, and if it is true (which I very much believe it is) then that would make this design a load of total bullshit
