That's what Islamic regimes do...kill people (mostly their own people), and that's why the west must support any and all democratic revolts wherever they occur in the Islamic world. The people of Iran aren't trying to destroy or rebel against their religion...they just want to secularize their governments...That's something Islamic regimes can't afford to have happen. Ahmadinejad is Ghoul(capital G) and he'll kill as many Iranians as he has to to remain in power.

Neda shouldn't have died this way. A huge mistake, Iranian government.

Terrible things happen to good people in every corner of the world. But when the brutality is captured and exposed this way, it's very hard to not focus in on it.

Hopefully Neda's death can inspire others to prevent the deaths of others like her.

What an asinine thing to say! Like what, it's okay to kill people that AREN'T pretty? You know there's an old saying that goes, "It's better to remain silent and be *thought* a fool, then to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

Believe it or not, there is an echo of a disturbing truth in those words. In Iran, some of the Basiji guards go by the rule of "let's kill her! she is so pretty" Another woman by the name of Taraneh Mousavi died by that rule, because she was pretty. The guards arrested her near one of the demonstrations, took her to a detention center and gang raped her to death. It's a sad sad world.
