I was raised in a middle class family, and I want a man that has the same values. This will help ensure that my future children are raised in a middle or upper income community with great schools, and an overall family friendly environment. Every 'smart' woman looks for certain attributes in a man.

@1titans I tend to be highly attracted to professional men. What I've noticed is, the non black men that I've dated, have no problem stating that they prefer black women. It's interesting because usually, they focus on attributes (i.e. physical characteristics, personality, spirituality, etc). Rarely, have I ever heard one of my non black male dates deride his own race of women. I am not saying that there aren't any non black guys that do this; it's simply not the norm for non black guys.

I was raised in a middle class family, and I want a man that has the same values. This will help ensure that my future children are raised in a middle or upper income community with great schools, and an overall family friendly environment. Every 'smart' woman looks for certain attributes in a man.

@1titans I tend to be highly attracted to professional men. What I've noticed is, the non black men that I've dated, have no problem stating that they prefer black women. It's interesting because usually, they focus on attributes (i.e. physical characteristics, personality, spirituality, etc). Rarely, have I ever heard one of my non black male dates deride his own race of women. I am not saying that there aren't any non black guys that do this; it's simply not the norm for non black guys.

I'm far more interested in his character, moral compass and of course his ability to provide a legit middle/upper income lifestyle for his family. You must realize that when I date men, it's not for sexual reasons, it's about vetting the man as a potential husband. Well, at the end of the day, it all depends on a combination of what you like and how they treat you. Hey, looks are always going to come into play, but the brothers that talk some craziness on who you date and who wants to date you needs to chill. Unless someone is paying your bills(and even then), they shouln't be deciding who you date.
