People accuse Grant of being an asshole but he is the first manager that was totally devoted to his client, in this case Led Zeppelin. Before Peter Grant came along, artists were continuously ripped off in one form or fashion. He had Zep's back at all times. Yes he benefited as well, but they always, always got their due and he changed the way that bands and other artists were able to book concerts, record, etc. etc. He had brass balls for sure.
