@sidalou1 Allah is concerned for the non-believers and he wants to Shepard them so they are believers. He doesn't want to 'destroy' them. Destroy is the wrong word to use. He wants to show them the path.

I personally think religion is a personal thing and people should be able to believe what they want right or wrong, as long as they're not hurting anyone or anything while doing it. Then, when they die it's up to whomever to decide whatever, if such a thing exists.

The "stone" figures were made by filling empty cavities w/ plaster where bodies had decayed. Sometimes these empty cavities had bones & teeth in them. The city was covered by flying debris from the eruption, not flowing lava. The arena at Pompeii did have fights to the death, but people weren't persecuted there for their religion. This film is almost 100% false & the producers made up most of the facts.

@Piccolo7126 I'd rather have a progressive liberal agenda that accepts EVERYONE, not a racist, anti poor, pro rich corporations, pro Christian (all other faiths or non-faiths aren't included in their world view), etc. Republicans are the biggest hypocrites, as they claim to care for the poor but Jesus (if he truly existed) would be rollling around in his grave. There are too many falsehoods in this to list here, but here are a few. 1. Lava didn't flow onto the city! 2. people weren't turned into stone! 3. Most residents fled the city & at least some survived 4. Vesuvius has erupted dozens of times since 79AD. 5. There were plenty of good people living in Pompeii; 6. There's very little evidence of homosexuality - it was not accepted as a norm. 7. slavery was a worldwide practice not just Pompeii; 8. Many places have been destroyed by volcanos
