@Roely01 If they have GPS they don't need internet. GPS is a hardware, like in a Tomtom, for example. You don't need internet to make work a GPS hardware

@Roely01 Google maps is another kind of application based in internet, but it's not a GPS. Maybe they use their maps, but they must be preloaded in the phone and the only reason to use internet is to update them.

I've got some Nokias with their own maps and I can use their GPS without internet connection, but I can also use the wifi to connect and see Google maps, and satellite pictures. They can triangle your position with the GPS and also with the antennas

@do00mme Way too bulky and fat. Screen quality isnt the best too, the resolution sucks. Sound of the speakers sucks too, only mono though they are quite loud ( but the quality ...). You got to pay for the Navigation here in germany (2 Euro a day, fuck you??!) . The battery is good, so is the music player, everything else is just like in every other SE Mobile phone (c902, k800i... blabla), BUT There are only a few good themes and some nice flash wallpapers... Aino is outdated!

Ja das Wave ist echt hammer! Hatte nur noch nie vorher ein Iphone und wollte deswegen mal ein IPhone testen, es ist echt nicht schlecht und 230 Euro waren ganz ok, es kann ja auch mit Jailbreak ne ganze Ecke mehr :) Aber das Wave ist natürlich trotzdem schneller, schärfer, sieht besser aus, besser verarbeitet... wenn jetzt noch der Bada Store größer wird können die Iphones einpacken, SOFERN die am Design noch etwas feilen (Iphone4 = Epic Design imho)

@do00mme Well I am testing an Iphone 3G now. The price is pretty decent (about 230 Euro here! So its the same with Aino!) and the screen/performance is way better. Other good Touch alternatives are the Samsung Jet 8000, or S8300 which has a full touchscreen + keypad.

If you want a Sony ericsson, the W995 is a great device too! It has all the Aino has (WLAN, 8MP,...) but I prefer the Design and the 3.5mm Headset input with a reasonable price, way cheaper than Aino.

A-GPS does not necessarily download stuff from the internet! It is "assisted GPS", so that the phone uses GPS and cellular networks to find location faster

@KILLRAVE the touch screen is only when you use multimedia yes. you dont use it at all when the phone is "flipped up" (: and for me, the buttons are pretty easy to use, like most other sony ericssons, even tho they are a flatter surface.. hoped it helped (;

Aino hás touchscreen: you can choose in the menu between regular keypad input or full touchscreen :)

I looked for Satio aswel, but heard of several bugs during software update, such as total loss of all data after update.

I choose the Aino today :)

I own the Sony Ericsson Aino...The phone gets sluggish very often...the phone wont respond sometimes which really irritates...the camera is not upto the mark...i believe Nokia N97 mini's 5 MP camera is much better than the Aino's 8.1 MP...and the keypad is very dissapointing
