  • I really hope Paul lives to be 100 and keeps on writing amazing material.

  • Does anyone know what brand guitar he's playing?

  • He is rich as fuck but he's playing a restrung rightly guitar

  • I'm just wondering, if John Lennon listened to this in its modern day sound quality along with the beautiful lyrics and fantastic instrumentation (along with how his voice has changed over the years)., and was told that this is one of the songs McCartney would write in old age what he would think.

  • Love this tune, I gotta learn this, it's so awesome.

  • @AlltimeTrance I can't play it like he does, it really sucks haha.

  • Paul is such a good singer. he always sings so good and beautiful and he is one of the greatest songwriters in the history of music along with John Lennon George Harrison and Ringo Starr. I love Paul McCartney, and I believe he will keep on making great marvelous songs until the day he is unable to.

  • Blu Gillis does an amazing cover of this song.

  • Its not blackbird.. but its almost as good :]

  • 18 people were suspected for helping Chapman kill John Lennon.

  • 18 people were suspected and sill are for killing beloved John Lennon.

  • @p1q0 he is singing with a throath technique, bastard

  • Blackbird in versione melanconica... o meglio suonata al rovescio Ma ugualmente bella

  • are you kidding me? this song is awesome!! saw him live and il rocked!

  • His voice sounds horrible. No denying the talent, but he's fading.

  • @p1q0 your deaf

  • The same guitar from the Indian Trip!

  • Never heard another "Jenny" songs. There is the best and only one " Jenny" by Paul McCartney. Am I wrong?

  • @DelorienAz I know right?!

    Love this song

  • My name is Jenny and this is one of the few "Jenny" songs where "Jenny" is not a hooker, or a bad girfriend, or dead. Thank you Paul for this lovely tune!

  • @DelorienAz

    It's true! It's true!

I'm a Jenny too and I'm so happy this song exists! It's such beautiful tune :)

  • @DelorienAz Karl Marx's wife was Jenny too!

  • @euticoca : You know you have a point there. Put a hat on it and no one will notice...

  • @DelorienAz Jenny Wren is a bird

  • @DelorienAz You should read "Our Mutual Friend," she's an awesome character.

  • @DelorienAz check out "The hollies jennifer eccles" another song for you to listen too.

  • goodguyradio, don't you think it is possible that he could be especially blessed by God to sing such beautiful songs of love?

  • @JMTBW you could be on to something there.

Pauls got a gift that keeps on giving.

  • This song actually sounds like something that belongs on the White Album. There's something about this that just sounds like classic Beatles.

  • @vladpiranha It's beacuce of the "fingerpicking", the same as blackbird :)

  • @Skrotnisse275 The funny thing is that Blackbird is the song that came to mind.

  • this song was written in 1964

  • id like to know what year he wrote this

  • @withtheirmachines 2008 or maybe 2009, I think

  • @withtheirmachines this album came out in 2005, so somewhere just before then maybe?

  • no puedo dejar de oir esto, me conmueve T_T

  • is great, fantastic Paul :D

  • This is Paul's BEST Song i nMANY years..irs vintage composition..like an early Wings ballad..beautiful ~~

  • Now and then paul really does match his beatles output , this is one of those songs .Not knocking ringo but paul really is the sole standard bearer for the beatles legacy now and his output for the last ten years has been pretty good . i prefer john and georges music to some extent wish they were still with us .

  • I never liked The Beatles, but this is really nice ^^

  • @nazgulofthedeath never liked The Beatles? what's your problem???! Are you ill..?

  • Heheh, I love what he did with the sleeve album cover. I didn't notice it until I was trying to look at it right side up, though that just caused me to realize it was upside down! XD

  • @SkittlesTheLucario hahaha, same thing happened to me. my guitar teacher said about that, and was the first time he saw it... and i have that CD for a long time

  • Love this song.

  • Armenian DUDUK

  • Love it

  • Sir Paul, I love you...I love you.

  • mmm paul me enseñas a tocar guitarra sii?? toks de una manera diferente

  • istenem ez a zene de szép éjen sokáig paul mccartney alá írta kááló andrás szendrő

  • Nobody does it better than the Masters - Lennon and McCartney

  • Paul McCartney is the best!!! Nothing else to say!!!

  • I like the part of duduk!!!!!Amazing!!!

  • I wish he had sung this at the concert in Mexico... I'd like him to sing all of his songs though

  • why the heck would they make such an edited down version? The originals like 4:00 right??!

  • Paul McCartney really needs to make a folk album. All of his folk songs are beautiful.

  • One of the few songs he's written lately that I could actually see being a Beatles song.

  • his best work in yrs kh

  • bellinata

  • one of the best solo songs by paul

  • You've out done your self Paul! AMAZING!

  • The maestro for ever!!!

  • Paul wrote this to be the same picking style as "Balckbird" " Mother natures son" and other songs and hte solo you hear is played on the venezualan intrument the Duduk--Paul played this song live in concert once ever- the Sapce Within US Tour and it was amazing!

  • PAUL, ERES UN GENIO............

  • Definitely : Paul is the number ONE. Forever !!!

  • Who could dislike this?

  • @RobertRonxolm 14 people, but they suck so it's okay.

  • I wish this would have made it out main stream!

  • Sounds like it could be an out take from the white album.

    Its that good.

Chaos and creation is a great album.

  • @AgentEarl Paul wrote it to be similar to the Beatles song Blackbird he wrote same fingerpicking style is one reason it sounds Beatles like

  • anyone can write a song, but only a select few like Paul can write with feeling

  • Love this song Paul. It is one of your best all around - later songs- and it is off your best album in years

  • ths is classic, alot of pauls stuff i dont like, but this is amazing, like blackbird :]

  • Its amazing =)

  • Everybody says the Rolling Stones have been here forever, but Macca has been around longer, he by himself is more successful and he's still on tour.

  • This song is so Paul McCartney... which means... it's freaking amazing. :D Before this video, though, I didn't know that Paul was left handed... you learn something knew everyday...

  • @WhatAnInterestinGirl .....He's quite the talent isn't he.....

  • OmG! The sound on this video sounds just like Paul is right here in my room! oooooooooo NICE! :)

  • What a melody.. CLASS

  • This sounds just like Blackbird....

  • @reiniergoogle

It's the same picking on the guitar as in blackbird.

  • i wish i could look as young as Paul when I hit my 60's, anyways amazing song, so calm and gentle

  • I heard this song on a radio station where Paul played it live. I like the Beatles but i'm not one of those people who listen to their music all the time, same for Mccart. But this song is just something else. And also, as I am a musician the beginning riff is so drastic and so heartfelt. It's wonderful.

  • Thank you, Macca for all the beautiful music throughout the years of my entire lifetime. I can't imagine what life would be like if there were no Beatles. I love music because of the Beatles. Music saves people.

  • Anyone know what Mic hes using for his acoustic?

  • @xDrunkenMastersx guess it`s a Brauner.

  • This is very interesting song! Such a really good melody!!!!

  • Jenny Wren was written in Los Angeles, and is about a character of the same name from Charles Dickens' novel Our Mutual Friend. It also refers to an English bird known as the wren, which is reported to be McCartney's favourite. McCartney wrote the tune in the same sort of finger picking style found in "Blackbird", "Mother Nature's Son" (The Beatles) and "Calico Skies" (Flaming Pie). The song earned a nomination for the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category.

  • Still Paul MCcartneys Biggest fan!

  • Quiero verte en vivo Paul!! :)

  • Paul is 5/8 Irish and one prolific genius

  • that voice...at starting at 1:23 is something special..i love the sound of his voice now that its aged...cant wait to hear it when hes even more older haha...and those chords are heartbreaking.

  • This seems like a mix of Blackbird, Rocky Raccoon, and Eleanor Rigby all in one song. But it's really good. I like how his songs tell a story about imaginary people and stuff.

  • Jah044445 you're right... Sir Paul said that he wanted to write in a style like blackbird, somthing he hasn't done in a while... You have a good ear.... LM

  • Comment removed

  • @Jah044445 Paul himself actually found out that Eleanor Rigby was a real person which is nuts

  • @kennyg03 Welllll, they found gravestones with the names Eleanor Rigby and John McKenzie outside of the church where Paul and John supposedly met that nobody noticed before. It was never confirmed whether they were put there after the song came out or if it was pure coincidence, but I imagine that they were put there afterwards.

  • @Jah044445 and yesterday on 0.52

  • @Jah044445 yeah, i like those imaginary people ~

  • Paul McCartney always does better than he had done.

  • better then Blackbird?

  • @kamikazeb surely no

  • Brilliance.

  • aaaaaaaaah q tema por dios!

  • Paul's melodies is just like you hear a compliment....=)

    Paul is a genious. Master

  • Short but sweet....

  • My anthem.

  • Excelente,........... Paul eres un genio

  • What a Great Voice :-0

  • Yes, it sounds like a Doodook (Asia)

  • It IS Duduk (Armenian national flute)

  • An absolutely beautiful melody! Paul has still got that Beatles spark, from time to time.

  • @Dodo251 yeah sounds almost like blackbirb but better i'd say

  • @rmartin232 It's pure genius.

  • @rmartin232 Its done in the similar finger picking pattern thats why it sounds similar

  • @clay180 yes thanks i am aware of that

  • As a : singer, songwriter, musician, & perfomer he possesses the talent of the supernatural. The guy is full of music and melodies, and is rocks biggest star. He must have made a deal with the devil to be that good, for this long-INCREDIBLE

  • I tend to think that Paul and the other Beatles were channeling a higher spirit than the devil.<
