Patti: We have about 65 Miniature Horses and feeding is twice a day, which we feel they should be looked at a minimum of once a day. Your unit looks great for our stallions and we have a need for about 20 of your feeders. Could you build or tell me the timers used & electro magnets or ?. If you could build let me know and if not how could I get the info. to do it myself. Thanks in advance nocolic@aol.com
Brilliant. Are you using an electro magnet to allow the door to open? If so, what brand did you use? I have been wanting to build something like this for quite some time for our two horses so I don't have to panic when I can't make it home on time in the evening.
@PattiABrown , I sure like to sleep in and not have to get out in the snow to feed , I have 2 hay eaters and they like being feed in the AM .Also I would like it if I could spend more time having dinner with friends and not have to be home just to feed. I would like more info on your hay feeder. Thank you !
DO YOU EVER REPLY TO ANY OF THE INTEREST THAT PEOPLE ASK ?

I'd buy the plans! The hot wire on the box -- assuming that's what the yellow posts are for -- is brilliant.

Patti, you should show how this is made. How the timer works. You could sell the plans! I would love more info!

How would you build one of these? This looks very convenient! I'd love to make my own.

You can set the timer to feed Hay at any hour of the day and it is EASY to USE and safe for your horse
