  • mam taki sam rozrzutnik..

  • i didnt read that it had an engine starter at first...wondered why the hell a giant deisel sounded like a little 2 stroke lol

  • If engine fails the Chaisaw engine can crank you home with 2 KMH !! ;)

  • Why do you rev the egine like that?

  • The original SMD-60 V6 turbo diesel is still in production.

  • Paljo tämmönen makssaa?????

  • i hate the sound of the engine starter !

  • T-150K starts YOU!

  • That thing have a heater?

  • THIS is Genius idea , WHen you need to start C-15 CAT 15.2 Liter engine on minus -20 C with Batteries it is mission impossible.

BUT That is why i like Russians THEY are deadly effective , THIS is simply MARVELOUS idea to put GAS engine 2 stroke to start the big unit , VERY SMART.

Very smart -- I wish I had this thing in mu 15.2 Liter engine , VERY SMART now with COLD weather I have to pay Towing Fee + Mechanic Fee = Broke This is MARVELOUS IDEA

  • so it uses a smaller engine to start a big engine?

  • Comment removed

  • yes! most soviet era mid-to-heavy tractors start from 2-stroke petrol starter-engine, it's more reliable and also helps starting big diesels in winter when it's minus 15 or lower.

i have one t-150k, it's really owesome, but it is refited with larger 200hp truck engine which came with electric starter only.

  • awesomee tractor

  • siinä onki oikee aikamoine paskanajoyhdistelmä

  • Попробуй не уступи ему дорогу, сражу накажет, он, вместо гаишника.

  • Great vid and tractor!! Love the pony motor starting the big diesel!

  • scrap iron

  • the best song!! :]

  • Sounds like a weekwaker

  • Mistä sä tollasen oot repässy? :D

  • Tämä ei taida olla mikään pikkupoikain lelu...

    Pelottiko käynnistää...?

  • ha! it did sound like a chain saw why is that 2 stroke??

  • 2 stroke starts better in cold conditions. It is also cheaper and simple to make.

  • @powertorque This is only the "starting-engine".

  • @MUSTERMANN2 Yes the starter is 2-stroke gasoline engine and the real engine is 4-stroke 9.15 litre turbodiesel.

  • @powertorque HOLY SHIT THATS BADASS!

  • pistäppä ajovideota :)

  • Ei voi, ei ole tätä konetta enää :(

  • does belarus make this tractor?

  • Not actually, it is made in Ukrainia by Harkov Tractor Plant

  • Still is the best way to start large, cold diesels. A small easily-started petrol donkey engine/pony motor which you can clutch in to crank the diesel. Saves messing about with large electric starters and their accompanying huge batteries, often weak in freezing temps.

  • i want to try drive it :D

  • the gas engine is actually called a pony motor. And thats what turns the diesel over.

  • in the begining it sounds like a chainsaw! :p

  • Comment removed

  • Its the pony motor.

  • what a beast O_O rich interior:D

  • LOL!

  • Wow....that is something I've never seen before, a small 2 stroke starting a diesel engine.

  • Yep. Early diesels were started this way because at the time, electric motors didnt have the cost-effectiveness, neither the torque or capacity to start these big lugging engines. Especially during a cold start situation, where the diesel may be cranked repetitively.. a period electric motor (that was small enough) would have overheated or just.. not work.

  • How old is that tractor btw?

  • is that a fiat

  • damn does that turbo sound nice

  • saund like motorchane

  • Very interesting - lots of room in the cab! And that diesel is smooth and quiet.

  • lol sounds like 2 takt benzine XD

  • this is the ignition motor

  • мать моя, сколько лет технике, а заводится с пол-пинка.Водила крут!++

  • OMFG!!!

  • soviet technology at it's best - small 2-stroker starting huge turbodiesel monster...anyway the tractor is too fuel hungry and inefficient

  • The early AMERICAN Cat diesels were started by donkey engines too.

  • lol donkey engines, haven't heard that one! Same thing as a pony starter i guess. My father has an old pony start john deere.

  • @kimskis Actually I have 2 of these tractors in Saskatchewan and they are very fuel efficient. Uses half the fuel of a JD of the same hp. (175 drawbar)

  • @teeshka how he can have 175of drawbar hp if his maximal power is 165?

  • i like the sound of starting :D awesome, THERE'S NO BETTER IN THE MORNING :D

  • Heheh komea peli

  • siisti video ja konekkin hyvä.. Missä tommonen on? Miinusta vaan siitä että oot kirjottanu nimen enkuks yms ja sit videossa suomea kirjotettu..

  • In perfect phase.

  • hah that thing takes longer to get runing than when grandpa tried to start the fendt xD

  • how many HP?

  • 361 hp from PTO which is about 397 in engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next owner has benched it with new turbo.

  • the original engine smd60 had 165hp its kind of hard to get 397hp from 9,15 liter taking in count that this is a ussr technology diesel

  • y is it when a russion tracktor starts it sounds like a chain saw, seriousley i want to know im not making fun of any one.

  • Thats just the sound of the 'pony' motor that they use to start the diesel engine with instead of an electric motor.

  • i no the gasoline starter engine sounds like a two stroke

  • Comment removed

  • very lager!!

  • in English bitte mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut

  • pistäs lisää viteoo :D

  • so this tractor has two fuel tanks then...

  • Yes,a little maybe 4 litre tank for gasoline and 300 litre tank for diesel.

The starting engine can also be started by hand like a chainsaw, so it doesn't need a battery at all !!!

  • I wish a car could do that! that way you would never be stuck cause of a dead battery! that is an awesome tractor!! I like the pony engines!

  • it wouldn't work with a gas car cause you need to fire the spark plugs

  • if you have a manual transmission car you can push start it even with a dead battery

  • not if the alternator is dead too..

  • @J0Boa with a car yes, but try push starting that huge tractor! you'd need another one just as big

  • HOW can a 13 hp engine move that HUGE tractor!

  • Please read more carefully! The 13 hp engine is just the starting motor.

Engine that moves this thing is 9,15 litre V6 turbodiesel

  • Pollution at his best.

  • I like this

  • It sounded like he started that with a chain saw. Not sure what you all call it but was some kind of pony motor to start the diesel?

  • yes its a 2 cylinder 18 hp i believe...

  • Its a one cylinder 2 stroke 13 hp engine.

  • crazyFrog!! :))))

  • eloszor a tablara tegyed es asztan meny a mezore vele kezdo

  • ok!

  • ma che rumore fa all'avvio? sembra un go kart

  • già e quando accelera fischia anche un po'

  • potrebbe avere l avvio con un motore a parte... tipo la bcs che partiva a benzina e poi andava a cherosene...

  • how meny hp was that

  • At factory setting 165, but this one some 200+

  • are these good tractors ? I have heard people say that the Kharkov tractors were poor quality, and the Kirovets from st. Petersburg were very good.. ??

  • I think that these are not very good tractors. This one broke a planetary reduction from front axle and couple of turbos only a little over 500 hours on the clock!!!

We don't have this tractor any more :)

  • moped! :D

  • its the 2 stroke gasoline starting engine. With this, it will start in extreme cold, even when most batteries cant deliver the voltage to crank the Diesel fast enough...

  • Don't see that everyday.

  • Chainsaw...

  • ei ois kiva jos tommost melkee kymmenetuhat kuutiost pelii pitäs saada polkemal käyntii:D mahdotonta -_- =D

  • thats not russia that is finnish u dumpasses! tosha on aika kova duuni pelkästää käynnistämises:D tol ei oikee tarvii pelätä et jäis kiinni mutaa tai lumee:D

  • most of the old 2 CYL diesel john deeres used a gasoline pup engine to start the diesel. last year of 2 CYL production was around 1959or 1960

  • it is the starter is a gas engine to start the diesel like the jd model r

  • Sounded like a 2-stroke in the startup.

  • A lot of tractors made in soviet union had 2-stroke gasoline starting engines instead of electric starter. This tractor has got a electric starter for starting engine:D

  • Haha, i love russia! :D

  • puhh, what for a shit vehicle

  • pepelatz!!!

  • thats sound like my mop 50 hah same sound !

  • sounds like a 2 cycle.

  • yeah it's called a pony engine it starts the deisl engine

  • LOL sounded like a weed wacker :D

  • Aika peli. Mihin käytät tota?

  • INQUINADOR!!!!!!!

  • made in Ukraine....XTZ

  • puskach

  • that's normal, is the same with MTZ 80

  • PEPELATZ!!!:D :D :D

  • dont laugh ! a lot of the old caterpiller dozers start like that . a mans tractor that ..

  • Early Deere diesels, too! Heck, lot of early diesels used pony engine-start, before electric became reliable enough to turn 'em.

But you mentioned Cat; my grandpa was a design engineer for Caterpillar through much of the '40s, '50s, and '60s. Stands to reason he uses an old D11000 (slightly smaller version of the early RD-8/D-8 engine) stationary for the sawmill! Naturally, it's started by a rather balky twin-cylinder gas engine.

  • what a fukin banger

  • Sweet Beast Man xD Great i love it !

  • My grandpa has one just like this back in Lithuania.. Just not the second set of wheels on each axle.. The things a BEAST! =D

  • yer u dick, thats cos there probably is, they use a little engine as a starter motor!!!! rather than an electric one in ur car!!!! Think bout it, even says in the info part!!!

  • Bloody Hell! It has an engine to turn the main engine over! Cool. Is it Russian?

  • ukrainian

  • It's Soviet made for precision.

  • The starter is two stroke gasoline engine and the diesel engine itself is four stroke V6

  • two stroke diesel?

  • Is it a two stroke engine?

  • cool!!!!!!

  • russian muscle :D!!!

  • sounded like a dirtbike at fist ahah

  • Oddly enough I think the donkey engine is the same as some of the old Ural bikes. We used to have a Belarus 1500 (same as T-150K) and a 1507 (same thing but better cab and electric start) on logging cranes/rolling blades a few years back. Goddamn those things can pull!!!

  • rokenroll...

  • CO 2

  • In Canada we call the pup motors. but what ever they do the same job. I think cartridge starters would be fun

  • not sure if we're talking the same thing here, but my uncle had an old john deere tractor that you'd start on a small gas engine inside the tractor, get it warmed up, then it'd turn over the main diesel engine. was neat to see. :p (from canada too :p)

  • That's what I'd call a pup engine all right. Notice my comment about the Farmall M below?

  • i had heard of kerosene starts but but not gas.

  • back before WWii International (Farmall ) tractors started on gasoline and once warmed up were switched to kerosene. Reason being kerosene was almost free compared to gasoline. Other brands may have done the same, I'm not sure. I know IH did because we had an M on the farm with the small tank for the gasoline . .....Joe

  • mahtava peli toi kusiainen!!!!!!! mulla on toi pensakone käynnistin dt-75 tosessa ihan hyvä systeemi.

piru kun löytäs tommosen jostain kohtuu hinnalla.

    mahtava video täytyy sanoa!!

  • This very good video. Harm, that not to see already with a little engine march T150k tractors though these very origin. And the factory engine has a very beautiful sound. I did not see already on Hungary two years of factory motorcyclist T150k tractor. I live as anything else on Hungary.

  • vvvery nice!!!!

  • The diesel is four stroke V-6 9,15 litre turbo

  • i was about to ask if that thing was a two stroke diesel or not?lol

  • The gas start has its advantages like it don't need a big battery (in fact it don't need a battery at all it also has a hand start like in chain saw!!)the gas starter warms the diesel engine before start in cold conditions and pumps up oil pressure in advance.

  • The gas to start the diesel seems silly.. I guess it was needed.

  • Sounds like a damn weed eater!

  • nice vid, its called a donkey engine.

  • Made in the USSR, in Kharkov,Ukraine to be exact

  • beside it is very good tractor, but i dont have t-150, i have k-700 and it is better than any new valtras or john deeres

  • made in russia i think (y)

  • That old-timer sound at the begining is a 2 stroke engine used to start the real engine...

  • In Australia we call them donkey engines

  • YEAH!

  • that thing sounds just like my lawn mower

  • very good i like big engine

  • I thought it sounded like a 2 stroke starting motor.

  • both engines sounds quite diffrent of the model from the late 70's. reason could be the same exhaustpipe. the 70' model had a exhaustpipe for every singe motor. the procedere is nearly the same but the older model you had to start the pony-motor manuel. greate video... more like this (sorry for my english)

  • The starting engine is a one cylinder 350 cc 13 hp two-stroke unit sharing same cooling water with the diesel engine

  • 2-stroke starting motor which shares the same exhaust pipe.

  • yup, in the USA we nick name them the pony motors

  • but I believe this is the only time I've heard a two-stroke pony.

  • very true, and yes, I think this is my first time too. (sounds just like a chain saw a bit dosen't it =)

  • wow that sounds like a dirt bike

  • when it was starting up

  • I want to see more of this mean tractor!

  • my father have this tractor!:) I like this videos!!:)

    165hp. max speed 35km/h. eat on the road 50liters/ 100km. :):)

  • Wild! That looks like a big old Belarus! They are good tractors.

  • These are called Belarus in many countries, but it really is HTZ (Harkov Tractor Plant)made in Ukraine.
