seems like whoever made this didnt do a good job putting in realistic space flight dynamics. also taking into account the xwing's engine power and flight characteristics, they were extremely stable in atmosphere and handled like a stunt plane in high orbit. not to mention the inertial dampers that could cancel out G-forces exerted on the pilots body even when going 12000 kps (standard star system travel speed) but its a cool thing to see on any day good job not screwing up or anything.

this vid is annoying, you have to scrambe, but you sat on the runway pissing about, (could of done that when climbing), your where overspeed for a very very very long time, so why did'nt you just increase the nose up pitch!?!?!?!!?!?!!

B. Increasing the pitch would stall the aircraft and cause a flat spin. Infact, when I was returning, I had recovered from a spin.

Well, I have tried several times to REALLY high in it without using the slew mode, but there comes a point where it cannot go any higher. So no. Not really. Get astronaught status though. :)

Dude, I flew from Australia to Brazil with a special Downloaded Craft on FSX...It took almost 2 hours at 2100 FPSVert and 2477KNT(FSX max speed) I was flying at just over 390,000FT....

That is SLOWER than a space shuttle...It takes THEM 3-5 days to get to the moon...

Its a gd vid, but the only fact is u cannot get into space completely on FSX. Those pics near the end r from another game.

If you try to fly into space on FSX, your aircraft keeps doing barrel rolls, loop da loops, and just generally flying out of control so quickly you cannot land it again.

@Replay241 ive taken the atlantis freeware space shuttle pretty far into the atmosphere i dont think i was in space but i was up around 650,000 feet without using the altitude tool pretty epic looked alot like this guys earth when he flew up there, but ya u do spin out of control but with patience it can be fixed and re entering is possible :-)
