the version i mean is the soundtrack to layer cake.

problem is the layer cake version at about 3 mins jumps and ruins it

Nope,imo. The original cover on Joe's compilation 'With A Little Help From My Friends' made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Soulful and great music from the Grease band. Put some headphones on, turn up the volume and you'll see! It was recorded in the 60s too, before Joe's voice lost its depth and power. Don't get me wrong I still love JC now ,but then he was summat else. Wouldn't have been considered for the lead vocal in Led Zeppelin if he wasn't. ;)
