do not believe the bs about him. He was exiled from his own country. and found out truths that got him in trouble. He was too smart for his own good. But take with a grain of salt anything coming from a=jews b=americans when it comes to Bobby Fischer
Another tragic love story. It's so hard to find a faithful girl in this filthy, overpopulated world. No wonder why Bobby Fischer was angry at the world.
Why are they so keen about saying that Bobby began "isolating himself". It's not like Bobby had ever experienced the real world outside of Chess. Chess was everything to him, and after his time playing it was over, Bobby had nothing.
Also, I find it hard to believe that a man like Bobby had any -real- opportunity to find friends that would accept him for who he was.
It's not that Bobby isolated himself and rejected everything. He was more along the lines of a scared, lost teenager.
I think Bobby was fighting to be humanitarian and very courageous; he was in a bit similar position as John Lennon who also transformed he's public image to become political, Fischer was a politician in the later part of his life: Playing chess in Yugoslavia at the time of an intended NATO invasion is a political action!
Nato or UN tried to protect the muslims who were slaughtered. Very coureageous n had balls but not humanitarian! How can u be humanitarian n approve the same ideology as that of hitler! I think he was self-centered and avid of money!
@mopsius SO TRUE! Bobby Fischer. Americans spit on themselves when they tried to ban you from playing in Yugoslavia.
But you must know that when anybody spits (but spit must be politically correct), in the face of Ameriqwan, Ameriqwan looks at the sky and sayhs: "IT IS RAINING"!
Why Bushistas/Clintonistas wanted to destroy him? To put him 10 years in GULAG and fine him Thousands of $ because he played tournament in civilised, chess appreciating environment and country - SERBIA?
The guy was brilliant but totally mad. I don't think his political views (paranoia) and anti-semitic views should be held against him. He's dead now anyway.
@ritafair He is a genius, how dare you judge the mental processes that go on in his unique mind. It's people like you the ones that should have never been born.
Mr. Fischer, you alone defeated the USSR and won the cold war. Now your own country is against you, but you will prevail. there's no force or conspiracy in this planet strong enough to defeat you.

Of cource,Fischer was scared by Karpov,Kasparov even did analys of their games at that period so that's proved scientifically. But Bobby is not afraid to declare America for what it really is - a terroristic power, cancer of the world that's why he has balls.
karpov didnt scare him.. fischer considered himself the best and saw no reason to keep playing he thought there was no one good enough to beat him. so feeling he had nothing else to do once he saw himself as the greatest and unbeatable, e he became a hermit.
lets just say , fischer did infact play karpov b4 he retired
who you think would win and why
i think Karpov would crush fischer , simply becuz he crushed Spassky several times with better performance however did lose to spassky but not as much especially in important games
