  • Please tell how I can begin the Parkour process? Where I need to go,what shoes I need and all this? Please :)

  • @oXBeatFreakoX Just start out doing some of the basic drills and exercises on this channel. Let me know if you have any problems!

  • @DemonDrills Ok thank you very much! :)

  • damn, i need to get a new shoes that doesn't came off when i did this

  • isn't there a chance for your hamstrings to actually fuck up ?

  • try toe hang! :)

  • I got a heel hang on my first attempt. Without shoes, and on an aerial hoop. It doesn't hurt my legs at all, but good lord my heels.

  • When I was younger I used to do this EASILY. Can still do it. Never knew that was parkour.

  • 3 people fell on their head. lol

  • wack

  • its even hard to imagine doing that!!!

  • i can hang by my feet. like, the reverse direction of him. it discovered it a couple months ago. it's so much fun :)

  • is that painful?

  • I can't do it ;(.... but I want so badly ;(...

  • I dont find heel hand that bad anymore at start its very difficult but now i do on swinging trapeze :)

  • Are there any other exercises to strengthen the legs, for precisions and stuff?

  • Parkour should be a school taught course. Not only does it keep you in shape, but it helps nerds get away from meanie pants! lol

  • last time i did those well just to try to hang i slowly droped my arms down because i was holdin the bar to not fall and as soon as i was in ur position i always get a faceplant any tips

  • @SSgtJoker work on basic leg strength first. this is not a beginner exercise!

  • try this with no shoes ;)

  • for what the hell is that for?

  • @physco479 read the description!

  • if i did this, my achilles would never forgive me

  • theres a tip for this? 'cause i cant even do it for my legs

  • WHAT A HOSS!

  • this is one of the more interesting exercises i've seen. good job man.

  • is this difficult to do? im still a begginer in pakour. is there anything u put on u leg so that you can hang like that?

  • @rickyshaky10 yeah, don't try this one until you are more intermediate!

  • can you do toecap hang.. or how to say it in english.. have you ever done that?.

  • This looks like murder on your calves

  • @DyskoDelThunderback not calves as much as hamstrings!

  • how does he make it so easy to just place his feet up there nbd

  • Aw, heel naw! :O

  • A thumbs down? Somebody should condition their sense of humor.

  • good one :)

  • i would lol if your shoes fell off

  • I actually had that idea once for working out but thought it might possibly damage my ankles or heels, is that possible?

  • rofl o_o. the playground equipment thingy is bending :o!

  • you could even add situps to that heel hang which would be extremely difficult

  • that would be really hard, the only problem with that for me at least is i'ld prolly nock myself off with the sit ups lol

  • yeah i've tried it if i fall i just tuck and complete the flip dismount. it takes a lot of focus, balance, and coordination, not to mention some strength.

  • yeah but the results would most deff. be worth it

  • Well, I know what I'm doing tomorrow! lol

Imagine pull ups like that O.O

  • i found out last year i can do that when i was screwing around on top of a swing set.

  • what happens if my shoes arent tight well :D ....haha man i feel 2 times but i kept doing it and it helped me very much!!

  • Learn it barefoot. You just need to find a bar with the right diameter to get you started. This exercise also works your lower leg as you have to keep you toes pointed in order to stay up.

  • Is this easier or harder than the GHR?

  • depends what you are trying to do with it. i would say lifting yourself up in a heel hang or holding a solid 20 sec. hang would be as hard if not harder than a GHR on ground with someone holding your ankles. so starting with 5-10 sec. heel hangs would be a good way to supplement training for a GHR.

  • @DemonDrills i may sound stupid but wat is a GHR?

  • @linkmaster41 glute-ham raise

  • I would say this appears significantly easier than a full GHR in my experience, but that doesn't mean that it can't be developed to be more effective. I hadn't considered doing this as a strength conditioning exercise, but if you work on negatives with the aim of eventually being able to hang with straight legs, then you could work on pulling back up. It's entirely possible, you just have to approach it progressively.

  • Holy crap, that's awesome. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Hey, have you tried out the vibram five fingers? I guess it should still be possible to do heel hangs barefoot.

  • wow, that shit must be hard to keep up...btw, what's the name of the song?

  • doors by common market.

  • Yeah that's a very good exercise!

  • wow =)

  • I'm gonna try this for sure!

  • i would love to see someone do a pull up like that!

  • Looks good

  • nice exercise. been a while since any new vids, glad to see ur still into fitness. what shoes were those?

  • Yeah, sorry for the lack of updates. I graduate from college in May so expect lots of new stuff this summer!

    Those shoes are K-Swiss Kirovs.

  • hmm never heard of Kirovs before. When i first saw this video I was thinking what happened to your Ariakes?

  • congratulations about graduating. me and my friends are gonna try to make some vids this summer too if we can get a decent camera. are kirovs better than ariake mesh lites? i need to get a new pair or shoes to train in really soon

  • thanks! no, mesh lites are the best. i just happened to be wearing some kirovs this day.

  • 1st!!! Woooo! Imma try that one! :D

    Thanks!
