Todd Rundgren - The Last Ride performed at the Keswick Theater 9/14/2010

You did a great job recording this song. I was also at the show, but didn't bring my D90. I did upload a bunch of songs from the Utopia reunion in NYC with Moogy at 720 resolution. Any chance you can upgrade The Last Ride to HD? I also used that camera for the Todd/Healing show in Boston, but I was in the second row and got blasted out by the speakers. How do you deal with the tiny built-in microphone on the D90? I wish that camera had an audio input jack.

@LyleGoldberg Hey Lyle, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if I can upload The Last Ride to HD, but I'll look into it. At the time I recorded the video, I was still fairly new to the camera, and it was actually the first time I really used the camera for any extensive video recording. The Last Ride is my favorite song by Todd, and I waited nine shows I think until I heard it for the first time live, so I was really excited when the video turned out so well.

@LyleGoldberg I suppose the one drawback to filming the video was that I had to focus on working the camera, so I couldn't focus on the song is much as I would've liked. I suppose the flip side to this is that now the song is recorded for posterity.I appreciate the compliment as to the video and audio quality, but all I can say is that I was very lucky. I pressed record and just held the camera steady as I could for as long as I could.

@LyleGoldberg Oh one last thing (no pun intended). After I recorded this video, I realized that I only had the camera setting on medium quality. To this day whenever I watch the video, I kind of kick myself for not realizing that until after I filmed it.

I unfortunately couldn't make any of the shows, so I went for the webcast. I thought it was amazing, but not like the real thing obviously!

wow,I live in glenside and was at this show,must have been sitting a couple rows behind you,,this is one sweet video,one of the best so far from this tour which was beyond all "Todd coming to Town" expectations,which are always off the charts,I have seen many,many shows over the years,each had their own magic and this was the best,it had everything and then some.How did the webcast turn out?Bring on the dvd's of these last shows.Todd seemed to enjoy the hometown crowd and gave his best,as usual.

STELLAR performance.....went to three of these shows and was so glad it played at the Keswick in my neck of the woods. I was fortunate enough to have front row seats.......wonder what the Wizard will do next!!!!
