hi ive been slashing them in for 47 years just pace yourself and like the man said no wasted movements reach out dont move your feet oh gord !!am i suffering with cementure
1 thing I learned from this video.......Now matter how good you are on the trowel some wanker will always put a dig in....typical moaning, greedy, misreable bricklayers!
Yeah you looked ok but i have 27 years as a mason and would eat you for lunch. Im glad to see you butter your brick off the wall allowing for nice full head joints. When you use those metal poles its easy to pop a line it usually happens to me right at the pole Remember dont tap the brick get um down to the line with ur hand no wasted movement is the key to being a fast and neat Mason. Keep up the good work dude.Old brickie from Baltimore Md.
@spiegelsteven .. I'm sure you would eat me for lunch mate... I'm not saying I'm the worlds best bricklayer. I was actually just trying out my new camera. Anyway, how much are bricklayers getting paid in the U.S these days. In Australia about $300 a day working for someone, or if you're doing the job about $1 per brick plus extras... I'd be interested to know other rates around the world...
@brickslayer hey m8 farkin awesome name :) worked in syd last year for 6 months with a great gang. i run a gang of 4 . the rates in adelaide are 850 a thou plus extras like 100 for 350x350 piers $1 for each cut we evem get paid 200 for a tight side down the house $15 per mtr for sills etc....the only thing is its died in the arse over hear m8.. theres fuck all around. i was thinking of ringing my m8 up to come back over soon. he reckons sydneys still goin off
@spiegelsteven in aus its hard to push your brick down with your hand m8, because of the climate hear the bricks usualy suck the moisture straight out of the mortar as soon as it hits....hence the tap tap ;)
@brickslayer that is the best fuckin name for a brickie company, seen em live at soundwave the other week.....hey your slogan can be , no foreplay just a good lay hahaha ....brickie from adelaide
You need to watch your perps! Definitely crept over in the corner there mate.
