I simply had to stop listening to it. I'm sure Amos has a great voice and all but...This is just a disaster. Its much to harsh for the nature and tone of the song.

just really, really awful. I love both artists solo, but this version just guts what is a gorgeous and sublime song.  it sounds like tori didn't really know how to add anything to the song, so she just crooned along. the instrumentation is terrible, too.

I worked for Tori Amos. She is not a nice person. I was part of the local crew at an arena where she was playing that night. (George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.) She requested that all of the local stage hands had to leave the arena and stay in a small, windowless room while she walked from the stage and to the bus. Once she was in the bus, we were let out, and continued our work.

We were also told that night that before or during the show we were not to look at her or talk to her.

Maybe she has problems with public exposure - maybe she never got over the trauma of rape, maybe she has to get into a mood & mindset and doesn't want to be distracted - but divas can get demanding, I understand - sorry to hear it was an unpleasant experience though -

As much as I love Led Zepplin and the original song, I actually think this version is better. As a matter of fact, most of the covers on this album were top-notch (although, of course, many of the originals are better). However, this version takes a rather light-hearted song and turns it into a dark, haunting love song. Beautiful.

i like this song a lot.. i am into led zeppelin, but this version is really phenomenal. One big attribute of Robert Plant is being so open to new frontiers. ;)
