This game is (literally) magic. It just goes to show how throwaway the computer gaming industry is when you can be reduced to nostalgic yearning by a game which only came out 11 years ago, but I don't expect to experience anything better than this - in any medium - for a long time, if at all. This is what a game should be : all the parts taken separately are amazing but the whole is more than the sum of the parts. It's a work of art and so are all the IE games.

@zarakhast yeah, pretty much the closest you can get to the immersion of the IE games these days is mass effect, and even that is far, FAR, behind. I miss the days of devs making games because they loved games, rather than they love money.
