It just does not work for me, its always moves the optical photo and not only the light, its makes it look crap, i hope you know what i mean,

the hole frame and not only the light.

Hello, I had the same problem, but what i did was; scale the entire optical photo up, en then scale the light down, so when you parent it to your null object, the lights stays on its place.

I just watched very closely and the optical photo moves in this video too.

watch very closely at the left edge at 10:25.

so the only thing you can do is scaling the entire flares up or you create a light and call it 'Emitter' and then choose 'Tracking Lights' with your optical flares. and parent the light to the null object.

i dont know if it works, i haven't tried it yet.
