Wow this is awesome. I love this group and I love this song. It's just awesome that they covered it. I think I might have to turn it into a ringtone. Thank you for sharing! And breathtaking photos.
Six years ago I heard this song somewhere and I had no idea what it was called and for six years I hunted high and low for this and now I've found it! Tears of joy are running down my face thank you sooooo much for posting this! What an amazing variation of Cannon in D
This is the most enduring and popular melody of all time; it's fascinating to me that Pachelbel wrote it as a practice piece for his music students that they would actually enjoy playing. It's amazing what can be accomplished when the mind is given free rein to express creativity and a sense of fun at the same time. You get Beauty.
I have always loved Bond, and this is my favorite song. I have never quite understood why people use this with marriage (when gaining love, supposedly). To me, it always sounds like love has been lost and you shall never see it again, so bittersweet. I intend to have this played at my funeral.
@ragnarthesemigreen I guess at your funderal you can play the Canon too because may be another celebration...death is not the end.....so this song does not limit to happy or sad occasion...in fact, this version is abit faster and a bit upbeat than the original Canon.
@ragnarthesemigreen If you look at the sheet music for Pachelbel's canon, you would find that it would play the same melody over and over against through the piece. As the piece goes on, it changes, little by little, gradually and peacefully becoming more beautiful. People believe that, life is very much the same way. It's the hope that, as their lives change, it gets even more beautiful, so that even bitter memories become happy ones.
@them413rkid Perhaps; to me, it remains bittersweet, a beautiful song but infinitely sad as well. What was will never be again... This too shall pass, and once passed, shall not come again... Memento Mori, no matter how much you wish it were otherwise.
@ragnarthesemigreen That is a lot like this song as well. True, this song does give me hope, but it also saddens me a little. Every note that is played here has a beginning and an end. Press a single key on the piano and that note only lives for as long as you hold it. Once you let go, the note dies. But, the death of that note allows other notes to be heard, and when placed together with other notes, makes something beautiful.
It's so beautiful :)

@jrbyn Bond is a popular band made up of four ladies, they all play their own instruments very well and this is their best piece.
