Cairo is REALLY LIKE THIS for everyone living in Cairo (sadly). This video makes it look like only the Christians are poor, but the Muslims living in Cairo are very poor as well. I've walked down the streets of the Coptic area and the regular areas and there is no difference, poverty is everywhere in Cairo. If you want to check for yourself look at Google Maps and look at the pictures.
I am catholic but have great respect for the Coptic church, and none for the cruel and intolerant Muslim creatures who are perpetrating crimes against these people.

No, but seriously, I don't really hate Islam. I mainly just hate the barbaric culture. Western Muslims are fine, it is the desert culture that clings to the past that needs to be erased and replaced with a new, secular culture that embraces civil rights and a subjective view of the Quran over a fundamentalist view. Cairo is REALLY LIKE THIS for everyone living in Cairo (sadly). This video makes it look like only the Christians are poor, but the Muslims living in Cairo are very poor as well. I've walked down the streets of the Coptic area and the regular areas and there is no difference, poverty is everywhere in Cairo. The importance of coptic language can seen in Nag hammidi library .When arabs became ruling power the coptic language lost its importance ,gradually arabic was used in church too. not all copts are zebeleen, there are many copts in egypt and it just so happens that the zebeleen are coptic. they are not a "sect" of coptic christianity, they are people unique to cairo and not to the coptic church. this is also not an "abuse" by muslims, instead it is an abuse from the government and the infrastructure that makes the zebeleen a necessary part of the city's garbage collecting.
