Complicatedly, I use DivXLand Media Subtitler to make timed sub files, then I use Aegisub and make the subs all pretty, then I hardsub with VirtualDub and convert it with Super. It takes a hella long time and you need plenty of disk space. That's the rundown. xD If you need it more detailed than that, just ask.
