Eva unit 1 reminds me of Kiryu. Cuz in Godzilla agianst Mechagodzilla Kiryu dose seem to go berserk like the Evas but in that Godzilla film they call it Gone Wild and not Gone Berserk.

How the whole operating of the mechs. Pertty much Eva's are robotic like Humans. If you see in the anime there really not metal actually. They have flesh, just like a human. And whatever damage that is inflicted on the mech(For example stabed in the eye) also can be done to the pilot.

they are like a genral smooth human shapes with no features exept eyes and their kinda blacky brown (i know this cause i have the eva newtype art book)

in the face there is a little mask shaped like a upside down tear drip with eyes but its not smooth .

Theres only one problem that I have with this trailer: The design of the unit 1.

I mean, sure, this is just an ad for Evangaleon. But if they did a movie, I would suggest that the re-designed it so that while it does have a similar appearence, it would have to look more mechanical and have a duller, metallic surface.

Not really. If you were to come up with some concept designs that were based on the Anime design of the Unit 1, I bet that at least one of those concepts would successfully marry the original design with a practical one.

For example, you could redesign it to have noticable armor plating in certain areas that would still allow for the same mobility.

I think the best desing of a Eva should be (1) smaller, about 60 meters, (2) a little less "humanoid" in anthropometrics and (3) a lot more like a metal disguised monster than a mechanical structure in itself.

On its movement, obviously it has to be slower in the beginning but in berserk mode... it has to be nearer to a fast Cloverfield.

Then, under your definition, it should look alot heavier, due to the armor plating that probably also acts as a disguise for the fact that its really a living organism.

So, as a scenario, lets say that the Unit 1 gets into a fight with another angel, and that angel manages to get a grip on a piece of the armor plating and rips it off, exposing a section of it's true biological form. and as the piece of armor falls to the ground, it manages to level a small building on it's own.

Only two reasons I don't want them to make a movie real action: The actors would look nothing or sound nothing like the real things, and they would ruin by making it seem less complicated. Trust me, if they used people with close to the same voice, in japanese, with people that looked like them I would watch it.
