I wish I could go back to Ireland, but I live in the US! The Cliffs were definitely one of the prettiest things there, but the country as a whole is beautiful:)
I was walking up at about 1,700 feet elevation and decided to have a look over the side.
I walked over and saw seagulls flying about 1,000 feet below me and then noticed that I was standing right on the edge of a 1,700 foot drop and decided it wise to take a few steps backwards!
We visited the Cliffs in September 2010 and there is no charge to see the Cliffs. There is a small charge if you want to park your car right at the Cliffs, but even then if you are prepared to walk a little you can park further down and not pay at all. "2warNINg" - you might have had a valid point but you should really check your information before you broadcast it incorrectly. :-)
@Suggi1985 Ok, I take it back, I listened to it the 2nd time around. I'm sorry to offend your music.. im just not used to it. It's not a stupid comment, It's a logical opinion, we have our own tastes in music, and another thing, 'quite' is supposed to be spelled 'quiet'. So please, work on content and spelling. :-)
You should learn the difference between a reel and a jig. The music is in jig time- not reel time. Nice playing all the same. I'd like to know what t is.
I'm more Irish than you if you consider the North of Ireland British, as no true Irish man does.
I will let this slide as without checking I guess the 1994 in your name represents the year you were born making you only fifteen and probably a little stupid.
It wasn't people with that attitude that secured the Republic and is struggling for a United Ireland in the North. Read some books or listen to your teacher.
they want 50euros to see the cliffs now? Who made them in charge of the cliffs, they are a part of nature and belong to God. As a being of this earth we should be free to see our home without being exported for it. Charging us to see Landscape, Who made it theirs, it really pisses me right off.
No, quite is most definitely spelled quite. If you must correct a mistake be sure to do it properly. Correcting someone on there spelling when their error was using the wrong word is QUITE a bit worse than using the wrong word, or indeed spelling it incorrectly. It identifies you not only as an idiot but a smug and pretentious one at that.
Its all fenced in ur safe

I and my girlfriend were there too and pay nothing. We parked 1 mile away from the little tower and climbed over the fences. Was perfect.

it's only 10 euro to take a 1 hour boat ride from doolin to see the cliffs. that beats 8 euro to park.

visited here a couple of years ago,most enjoyable,though some people take a bit of a risk,sitting on the edge of a huge drop!!
blade0954 3 years ago 7
@blade0954
that would only actually be a risk if you were so uncoordinated or suffered from adhd so badly that you were incapable of sitting still.
