@caribdaddy was referring to beautiful day, but since u mention at least two synths here are used in electro house.
its a soca song at the end of the day, arguing about genres is irrelevant. but u are just here to troll genre confused trinis judging by ur only two comments.
@caribdaddy HUH ???? what is your stress ? that is Dubstep and Soca mix together what do you know about Music and please find someone else to fight with you have the wrong person
@caribdaddy It's not. It's appreciating that local artistes are trying to branch out and do different things. I listen to dubstep, it's one of my favorite genres of music, however this was not a great dubstep song at all. I was merely indicating my support of Kes the Band. It's still a very enjoyable song though I'd prefer it without the shitty dubstep mix; I love it.On a real though, you are commenting on a soca song to fight up and try to show you're a know it all about music?Pathetic really.
@TheVmr5 well sir. before u started to call ppl pathetic. the point i wanted to make out is that everyone think that this is pure dubstep. but ur point is what im trying to make
@caribdaddy I am not a 'sir'. Pure dubstep will never be appreciated by a general Trinidadian population. It is not something that everyone can listen to all day, all the time considering the particulars of our country's history and behaviours. Even around the world, there is just a small, albeit significant, influence of dubstep in every track..Recently though, it is becoming a trend in mainstream media and you should not be a beknighted rube about artistes' directions. It's music.
@TheVmr5 well miss if they really wanted to take a real jump into the genre of dubstep they should have followed damian marley and went by someone better to do the track for them. if u were following the music industry. damian marley historical background didnt stop him one bit and effectively combined the genres of reggae and dubstep
@caribdaddy aww boo fucking hoo, someone didn't do things the way I wanted them done. quit whining about it and do something productive with your life. why follow in someone else's footsteps when you can create your own?
and no i don't follow the music industry because i have better things to do, it's a freaking song. get over it dude.
@TheVmr5 you have something better to do with your life yet u come back to comment on this same youtube post not so? with the person who has nothing productive to do with his? u admitted u dont know follow the music industry. then how could u call this real dubstep? dont get me wrong im not taking anything away from the song but it could more than do without the little pieces of an attempt at dubstep
@caribdaddy whats wrong with the little dubstep breakdowns ? i think its very innovative and is moving soca into an international direction not like those generic techno beats destra and others are making
@caribdaddy I may not follow the music industry, and I may not be an artiste whose sole interest is in the music of today and yesterday but I do study music. I do have lots of better things to do with my life however, it's rude to not respond to questions. You have basically called out EVERY one here on this page which means you are either interested in what we all have to say or are just trolling for attention. Either way, give it up. You are of course, entitled to your opinions.
people like to have stress as what Kes say we stress-less, the dub-step a is saying one if you want to call it drum & bass ..... that is your way.
