  • Wow. How do you make the drill that makes the fire? Did you really hold the fire bare handed?

  • @brazenbunnies

    the pump drill : made from natural material (various woods, cane, smooth stones, deer skin, cotton string) and using a knife [although the could be replaced by some sharp edged stone] ;

    holding the fire bare handed : easier than one think, as long as one keep the fire in one's hand for a short time only

  • get ready for more hits i will add this video to a few of my web sites people need to see this add adsense and you will make money i will be linking it now!

  • @ncbookz

    Thank you for this proposal. And sorry, but I try to stay clear from active advertising. Propaganda, logos, slogans, brands, personnalized misinformation, perpetual ballyhoo... I hate all this stuff... but still not enough to quit being a user-sufferer of a system conceived around advertising.

  • well done, nice design. you started the fire with one hand!! I think I will try this.

  • Thank you for these good ideas ! I'll try.

  • I wonder if sand wrapped tightly in a rag and tied to a frame the way the stones are could be used as the counterweight. Or even wet clay, if you have no sand.

    Thank you for posting this video.

  • @TheWomanoftheWoods I've heard of people ductaping rocks onto the frame to use as counterweights before.
