  • @Svveetalker79 How are you doing "darling" thanks for the random and very unrelated psychopath video, I watched a few seconds of it and saw a woman throw a cat into the garbage which made me go "huh?! wtf am I watching this." But I do appreciate your attempts at bringing strange topics to my attention.

  • I one time took my daughter to the doctor suspecting she had something wrong with her kidneys. The doctor thought I was wrong & decided she was just having an allergic reaction to something. Turned out I was right. NEVER call a mother an uneducated idiot. WE know our kids better than anyone & doctors need to listen to us despite our lack of a medical degree.

  • Bullshit its just a fucking label.

  • It is astounding and scary that many people are taking medical advice from an actress/ former playboy bunny rather than from highly educated and logical minded scientists who have done countless studies on this. Do they take dental advice from ordinary people? Would they think it sensible to ignore a structural engineer's advice when building bridges and consult with Jenny instead?

  • How does she know anything about vaccines? Does she even know which end of the microscope to look through?

  • So many paid operatives on here . She has done a great job and because of the internet anyone who wants the truth will find it.

  • @SusanRichardsDay haha paid operatives, whatever. Unfortunately the internet allows the spread of mis-information now.

  • And so the time has come where bimbos and hookers give their "medical opinion" on TV - soon doctors will have to take over the job of playboy-bunnies ... but I doubt they're good at either stripping or giving blow-jobs.

But funny how the anti-vaccine freaks try to pull "evidence" out of their arses, copy & pasting it here ... XD ... reminds me of the creationst-nutjobs. Science is evolving ... and they don't like that one bit.

  • There is also a genetic component to autism. The older the father, the greater the risk. (Reichenberg et al, 2006): 30-40 y/o father = 1.6X, 40-50 y/o father = 5.7X and older than 50 y/o father = 9.4X the risk of having a child with autism. In siblings of probands the risk is 60% > normal, with a concordance rate in identical twins ranging from 30% for autism, to 90% for autism spectrum disorders.

  • "[The Immunization Safety Review Committee] concludes that the body of... evidence favors rejection of a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and autism. The committee also concludes that the body of... evidence favors rejection of a causal relationship between thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism. The committee further finds that potential biological mechanisms for vaccine-induced autism that have been generated to date are theoretical only." -Institute of Medicine

  • Autism isn't increasing. The def has simply been changed and expanded to include a much wider range of symptoms. If you simply look at the number of autism cases it sure looks like autism cases are going up but in reality we dont have more sick children. I do feel bad for any family dealing with a sick child and I totally understand the desire for an explanation but vaccines are not the cause. People are being killed by preventable diseases. Please stop spreading fear based on false beliefs

  • @BlockARazzi OK thats it...were done...consider yourself ignored. Cut and paste to your fellow nurses. (tho if you are one...youre a disgrace)

  • @BlockARazzi cut n paste? Address MY comments rather than spam.

  • @BlockARazzi blah blah blah give me the article or study citation or go home cutter and paster

  • @BlockARazzi again...why the need to "trick" the BBB as you say if it is already permeable and vulnerable?

  • @BlockARazzi You are absolutely clearyl cutting and pasting. I doubt youre a nurse and doubt youre reading my posts intelligently. SHAME ON YOU we are finished here...so glad i got out of nursing

  • @BlockARazzi The removal is based on the theoretical risk ONLY. Ive already told you this...did you miss it?

  • @BlockARazzi varying TOXIC amounts. again...shame on you and your simplistic understanding of biochemistry.

  • @BlockARazzi I am aware. yes. thanks. You didnt address anything I challenged you with in my posts. You merely attempted to divert with some accurate info. I was also an RN and will be an MD in 4 months. You should know better as a nurse to make the ridiculous (and quite baseless) claims you are making. As a nurse, you should be educating the public with accurate info, NOT what you are doing. You should have accurate info about the BBB and its role. Shame on you.

  • @BlockARazzi Incientally...Im FOR vaccines. yeesh, nice reading comprehension skills. Ill go somewhere else where I will get a semi-intelligent response and dont have to dumb down what I say so much...

  • @BlockARazzi way to manage to say nothing at all...

  • @BlockARazzi Follow along if you can...BBB is not made up of blood. It is the barrier between the blood and brain...it is not comprised of blood itself. And fish contain methyl mercury (the more toxic form). Vaccines utilize ethyl mercury (less toxic, and eliminated from the body much faster than its methyl counterpart. ) and in minute amounts. Mercury in vaccines has no documented cases of harm. Its removal from vaccines is purely based on theoretical risk.

  • @BlockARazzi um...your liver makes squalene. Its an intermediate in the formation of cholesterol. It is found in vaccines in concentrations FAR less than we normally have in our blood at any given time. The squalene in vaccines isnt even close to being clinically significant. It's harmless IN THE DOSAGES FOUND IN VACCINES. To say its a toxin is misleading. Vitamins are exactly the same - toxic in high dosages.

Besides...if the BBB isnt developed until 6 weeks why the need to "trick" it?

  • @BlockARazzi Whats the dosage of these toxins in the vaccines? How much aluminum do humans carry? Whats the elimination rate of these heavy metals from the average human? What Did you now that virtually any substance in sufficient quantities is a toxin? Vitamins are toxic in sufficient quantities. Should we abstain from them? You have no clue what you are talking about and this shows from your cut and paste approach to an issue where people making strong claims should know more than you.

  • @BlockARazzi Warfarin is used as rat poison and estrogen causes uterine cancer...I can take any medical statement and make it sound horrible as well. If things were so simple...Med school would be a 6 month course. If you dont understand how to put things in context, you shouldnt go around making statements that fool less skeptical people that you do...vaccines are FAR safer than the risks from the diseases they are meant to prevent. It is right to get them.

  • She's a total idiot. The science is all against her.

  • @BlockARazzi Aluminum.....lie.only if its by itself when bonded with other chemicals it loses this property

Squalene.....are bodies make it at all times, and in great amount then in any shot. and their not allowed in the us yet.

It take at least 6 weeks....shots are giving after this time frame.

You might want to research...you did not even know what the BBB was now your going to lecture me on it? go fuck yourself

  • @BlockARazzi Do you have any idea what the blood brain barrier is made up of?.......capillaries, and Endothelial cells that restrict the diffusion of microscopic objects and large or hydrophilic molecules. ethly Mercury(the shot) can not pass this.

  • @BlockARazzi yeah the merc in the fish can pass the blood brain barrier, the one in the shot cant. the shot is safer then the fucking fish.

  • wwwdotVaccinationCouncildotorg

  • I love how all the people here have such a blind faith in Big Pharma.

They just want everyone healthy...they don't care about money.

  • I got the MMR vaccine I hate having autism because it prevents me to be more outgoing and talkative like the other kids I don't understand why half of the kids didn't have the problem I have how is it possible someone tell me!!

  • doctors must be thinking, " jeez, im arguing with a dumbass woman who's only there b/c she sold her vagina to a magazine"

  • Jenny McCarthy probably gives great head, but she`s no scientist and definitely not smart enough to discuss something complicated like autism.

  • i m autistic.

Autism is not cure but...that is problem?Normal life?

    I have. Dificul?

    Yes and no.

  • She didn't 'cure' the Autism, she tort(sp?) him how to act normal. I know this because I'm Autistic and that's what my mum did.

No, I'm not just saying this for attention, some people when they say they're Autistic MEAN IT! And they don't appreciate it when whiny assholes tell them they don't have Autism when they've never even met them and have no idea how hard life is with Autism. Don't just assume I'm lying, Autism runs in the family and I'm sick of trolls telling me I'm just a lying bitch.

  • what is the death count on your head jenny? you are an abomination!!

  • theyve done tests after tests after tests showing there`s no link between autism and vaccines. In fact, autism has appeared before the vaccination, when it was delayed. She`s got herself stuck in a bunch of pseudoscience and none of it`s backed by science

  • @x1Brooklyn1x so thimerosal isnt a well known neuro-toxin? mercury has no effect on your brain chemistry? the science is everywhere, vaccines suck

  • @KalKapone10 sir a Tuna fish sandwich has more mercury than vaccines. we bathe in pools filled with chlorine which is poisonous and was even used as a weapon, and ms. Mccarthy regularly injects herself with botox as in botulism....wait for it....TOXIN. As for Thimersol yes it's toxic, but dosage matters, the dose they give you is not enough to cause any real damage. There have been actual medical bodies that have reviewed this.

  • @KalKapone10 so fish cause autism? they have mercury in them too. more then vaccines do, in fact. Why arent you trying to ban fish?

  • And tell me again why we would listen to a playboy model? Just because she has a child with autism does not make her an expert. If she wants to prove vaccines cause autism she should fund an emperical study. She is just enjoying the spot light.

  • I admire this woman for standing up to Big Pharma, Medicopharmological Naziis. If anybody thinks the "experts" give a damn about their health, they are very mistaken.

  • @Whitrolf if they didnt give a shit they would have huge lawsuits against them plus they woulndnt exist think about it

  • @Whitrolf they do give a shit if they didnt then they would have been taken down by lawsuits years ago and you cant get better from autism all vaccines do is help your body produce anti bodies against dieseases that would otherwise wipe the human race out. so basiclly you are mistaken Im not trying to troll your comment Im just expressing my opinon. feel free to reply

  • Don't trust a word that comes out Jenny McCarthy's mouth, and shame on Larry King for giving a stage to this woman. Also shame on Oprah for doing the same thing.

Vaccines are something I'm very passionate about. They make the world a better place. They save lives.

  • @sarrazilla

    Yeah, sure they do.

  • Grow up people. Vaccines are safe. Autism is almost always discovered in kids around the ages that they get the MMR shot, but then that's also around the time they learn to walk.

    Walking causes autism!!!!

  • Abstract from "A Population-Based Study of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccination and Autism" performed retrospectively on almost a half a million children. Published in arguably the most reputable medical journal in the world, the New England Journal of Medicine.

Real science, peer reviewed, with statistically sound evidence performed by real MDs, epidemiologists and public health researchers. But of course, Jenny McCarthy, who wouldn't even know what epidemiology is, knows best? Right.

  • Comment removed

  • Results Of the 537,303 children in the cohort (representing 2,129,864 person-years), 440,655 (82.0 percent) had received the MMR vaccine. We identified 316 children with a diagnosis of autistic disorder and 422 with a diagnosis of other autistic-spectrum disorders. After adjustment for potential confounders, the relative risk of autistic disorder in the group of vaccinated children, as compared with the unvaccinated group, was 0.92 (95 percent

  • confidence interval, 0.68 to 1.24), and the relative risk of another autistic-spectrum disorder was 0.83 (95 percent confidence interval, 0.65 to 1.07). There was no association between the age at the time of vaccination, the time since vaccination, or the date of vaccination and the development of autistic disorder.

Conclusions This study provides strong evidence against the hypothesis that MMR vaccination causes autism.

  • why do people like her get a voice in the media?

  • Evan = May happiness be with him always. <3

Jenny = BURN IN HELL YOU FREAKING WHORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • her son looks pretty normal to me

  • Jenny or Larry King who is smarter

its like the blind leading the blind

  • Is SHE a doctor? No? Well she should shut up.

  • autism is not an epidemic you bitch.

  • 1. Correlation does not equal causation 2. There isn't even a real correlation here. 3. Anecdotal stories are not the same as proper statistical sampling. 4. Her facts about vaccines and autism are wrong. 5. She should learn what the post-hoc fallacy is because she uses it when she points out there are more kids being diagnosed with autism and more kids getting vaccines. 6. There are more vaccines because we have ways to immunize against more diseases. 7. Why is there no scientist on the show?

  • Correlation does not equal causation...

  • nothing more than a conspiracy theorist who is pissed that her kid came out disabled. always gotta have someone to blame... despite evidence to the contrary by experts. why dont we start asking the john birchers about their belief that AIDS is a government conspiracy to control the population? they have as much evidence as she does, particularly considering the fact that she is not a scientist.

  • @jbond5150 Don't blame people for giving you advice. Blame yourself for following it. And don't blame people for trying their best to cure autism. Blame yourself for trying to disempower people's efforts to cure that mysterious handicap.

  • @jbond5150

Experts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! Boy, they've got you drinking the Kool Aid! Fuck the "experts."

  • @jbond5150 As a doctor i can attest that vaccinations do cause autism. etc.

  • McCarthy's an idiot. Plain and simple.

  • i LOVE her bob cut in this vid :)

  • Jenny McCarthy - a sleazy con artist

  • More like a self-centered attention whore.

  • generationrescue (dot) org

Shows all the evidence based science you need to know that vaccines and autism are linked.

WHO OWNS THE MEDIA? Big pharmaceutical billion dollar multinational corporations do. Why do you think you see "Ask your doctor about this or that drug?"

WHO TOLD YOU YOUR DOCTOR WAS YOUR AUTHORITY ON YOUR HEALTH? "They don't even practice nutrition which the Journal of the American Medical Association finally admitted that disease is nutrition related.

  • Another Big-Pharma conspiracy theorist. While I do not agree with pharmacudical companies, it is rather ludicrous to assume that autism is a conspiracy since many historical figures such as Einstein and Newton displayed autistic symptoms.

  • No, actually I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I helped my neighbors son get out of an institution for the rest of his life by helping to wake him up from autism at the age of 7, and that was after the pediatric psych handling his case pumped him with medical straight jackets (5 different meds) and pumped him full of lythium. You never had to experience that with your diagnosis. Lucky you.

  • No one "wakes up" from autism. The symptoms decrease in severity as an autistic individual matures. When I was in high school, I did experience some very awkward social moments. When I was a child, I had to take several antidepressants which made me aggressive.I also remembered that it took five adults to hold me down when I had a meltdown as a child. Besides, I really would not take any advice from ignoramouses like JB Handley.

  • No, it's not instant, but adding insult to injury by drugging the shit out of a child is nonsense.

  • "Einstein and Newton displayed austistic symptoms" therefore there is no conspiracy?... huh? Historical episodes of autism do not speak to pharma's intentions at all.

If you want to understand how pharma is damaging ppl with vaccines, read about a mercury/aluminum induced cytokine storm. Then know that their are safe preservatives and non-toxic adjuvants such as chimeric enterotoxins . The corruption will be self-evident.

  • Well unfortunately for you, a UK wide study has found the rates of autism in children is the same as in adults. As teh vaccine was not available to nearly all adults the vaccine cannot be causative of autism.

    Please take back your nonsense

  • @stuntactorsagaftra

Wow, what a rare find, someone with a brain. These people making these comments are the biggest batch of Kool Aid drinking TV viewers I've ever seen. I can't believe I'm even wasting my time reading the comments. Maybe it's because the assinine hospital that I work for is making flu vaccinations a condition of employment, and it's hard to believe I'm now living in Nazi effing Germany, and all these idiots think it's just great.

  • Jenny McCarthy is an idiot. If she was able to "cure" her son from autism from detoxing and stopping vaccinations.... why during the 6-7 year period that children don't recieve shots (after age 5, only scheduled shots occur at at 11-12) wouldn't parents notice a lessening of symptoms?

  • When the next preventable pandemic hits, Jenny McCarthy should be the first sent to the gallows.

  • JB Handley and other

vaccines-cause-autism ignoramouses such as JB Handley should hang beside her if that happens. They claim that there are no autistic adults. That's is the most ignorant statement that they can come up with since autism was first studied during

    WW2.

  • She claims that the rise in the rate of autism and the rise in the number of shots occurred at the same time, but isn't it true that autism rates in countries with very low vaccination rates match those with high vaccination rate?

She says that vaccinations and the development of autism occur at around the same age, but then so does the ability to walk.

Anecdotal information is NOT science based information - no matter what Jenny says.

  • What evidence is there that the number of shots given is too many or two soon? Arguments like "it sounds like a lot" are not valid.

Are the ingredients that she cites actually in the shots and, if so, is there evidence supporting the claim that they should be removed?

She personally hasn't heard of that many people falling off the map that we need to implement 26 new shots. But arguments from personal experience are not as valid as scientific studies.

  • WOW, Most MD's again show why most are morons. None are scientist or researchers. They give out whatever the pharma co's tell them to. They killed Michael Jackson, cause autism with their "snake oil" vaccines etc. etc. What idiots!

  • It is not the pharmacudical companies that tell them, it's the FDA and other agencies that tell them. Many drugs have been taken off of shelves such as prozac (which I took during elementary school). Mereck has been investigated for suspecious activities.

  • The pharmaceutical industry has increased the products and lowered the age of many inoculations,

This helps them hide any adverse effects, allergic reaction and subsequent damage to a developed 2 or 3 year old is quite obvious and recordable, but with an infant the damage is hidden, I suspect it reduces lawsuits, you have no evidence, theyll assert that your child was born that way and get away with it!

After all theyre scientists, who are you?

  • It's called population control.

  • I don't think you insult these celebrities intellect just because they lead lives in the spotlight. That doesn't make them any less knowledgeable, especially when they have personally dealt with the difficulties of raising a child with disability. I know that Micheal J. Fox is a famous celebrity fighting for Parkinson's. I highly doubt he is a stupid campaign front to the disease. Celebrities have the ability to provide international awareness for any disease. Good for them!!

  • Micheal j Fox supports a cause that makes sense. Jenny McCarthy is actively telling people that vaccines are bad and to not have them, there may be strong links to suggest that autism is linked to vaccines but nothing solid. And besides the risk of autism is worth not having another polio outbreak. As a mental health professional I understand the challenges she faces but I don't think I will take medical advice from someone who does titty photos for playboy, thats what Doctors are for

  • And the tittle of her book just shows how little she knows about developmental disabilities. They are not something that need to be cured, its part of the persons personality..its who they are, and by telling them they need to be cured is like telling them they are wrong for being who they are

  • What matters is who in the room has a medical education and is actually qualified to talk about these matters. Proof and evidence matter. Vague conspiratorial nonsense does not.

  • sleepcity,

A parrot repeats what it hears and a doctor repeats what he's taught

A statistician with good numbers and no medical background, could give a better answer to the subject of autism and its link to vaccines, than a scientist in bed with the pharmaceutical industry

The American Medical Industry is run by these billionaire pill pushers, respected doctors and nurses have testified numerous times of this corruption, Ive met several of them

  • I guess we should believe you because you've met "several" doctors who agree that the American medical industry (it's not a proper noun -- no need to capitalize) is "in bed" with the pharmaceutical industry? That might be true in a sense and we can agree on that but prey tell what that has to do with the LACK OF EVIDENCE that autism is caused by vaccines.

Faulty logic, bad thinking. Let's be precise.

  • Everyone trusts the government...

  • I trust the government about as far as I can throw it, which is about twice as much as I trust that loopy cunt.

  • unbelievable how parents allow their innocent children to be vaccinated with out researching it for themselves.

Heck, the gov't does not tell you any of the dangers...not even a possibility your kid could get grand mal seizures. I mean come on.....atlease tell us there could be a possibility and more research is atlease needed to prove this.

    BS.

We live in a time where you cant trust anyone with your health or money...most of these deseases were almost eradicated before shots came along

  • Money money money, more vacines, more money, more autism, more money, follow the trail to the jolly green giant.

  • typical dumb blonde

  • Wow, millions of people affected by autism, and THESE are there spokespeople, Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey? Sorry, I just can't take any advice from someone who thinks vaccinating my child from measles and hepatitis is a bad idea, but "The Number 23" was a good one. Who knows, maybe if it catches on, we can bring back polio!

  • lmao--well said

  • You think just because someone is a comedian or actress that their point is any less valid?

This person is rich and famous, and in a very good position to bring these issues to light. There IS a problem with vaccinations vs autism, and if you think the threat of a polio outbreak justifies giving so many people autism, something is very wrong with you.

  • so what you are implying by your last sentence is that vaccines do cause autism. The rise in autism can be accounted for because more people that would be diagnosed with other disorders back in the 60's and 70's are now being diagnosed as autistic. The chemicals in vaccines are at extremely low levels and some of the chemicals that all these bombastic speeches are made about i.e. mercury arent even the right type of mercury. The mercury in vaccines is ethylmercury not methylmercury which

  • the EPA does limit. Ethlymercury does not bioaccumulate and flushes out of the body. MethylHg is what causes neurological disorders. All studies by the government state that the vaccines do not cause autism. stop endangering everyone else with your ignorance and go get vaccinated.

  • Oh and autism sets in overtime and is a gradual deterioration of the nervous system so babies that seem normal become autistic. So all these parents that are devastated that their children 'suddenly' became autistic are all looking to point a finger since their baby was once 'normal'. Their choice=vaccines.

  • LOL at ppl saying mercury doesnt play a ridiculously major part in autism. YES IT DOES. Where does a child that young get exposed to it?-VACCINES. Is it possible to 100% heal them?-YES.

Source--Learning from and working with a man who has 100% healed several autistic children by simply removing that f*#^%d up poison from their bodies.

What is the REAL reason it is in vaccines?-The true core answer is kinda unpleasant, and perhaps unbelievable so its best to figure it out for yourself. Cya

  • Let me guess;

"Duh...the government is using pharmacudical companies to control the population via vaccines."

  • She also has NO business speaking For the autism community. She certainly does NOT represent me. How irresponsible to say that it is b/c of vaccines. This train of thought will only facilitate people to not look into other causes. I think we need to investigate other reasons. Let's not be negligent. SHe needs to go back to playboy. I would rathyer not see her, but she would be better off seen than heard.

  • It's hilarious that Mrs. McCarthy is "anti-toxin." She should probably stop eating food in that case, because the risk of ingesting trace toxins in the quantity of foodstuffs we eat, far exceeds that of any toxins that may or may not be a trace constituent of vaccines. This woman should not be educating the public on vaccines, as she has no medical, or epidemiological training, and is a charlatan on the subject. Her ignorance coupled with her complete arrogance is pathetic.

  • The controversy of whether vaccines cause autism has been around for a very long time. It is a failure of the medical establishment, the CDC and the pharmaceutical companies to clearly and convincingly describe to the public exactly how vaccines do not cause autism. The inability, or reluctance, to educate the patient, in this case, the parents, as to precisely how they have nothing to fear with vaccination, is probably the heart of this controversy.

  • Today, Saturday, in Ashland, OR, federal researchers are PAYING 80 local residents $50 apiece to tell them why they refuse to vaccinate their healthy children!

Millions across America distrust the government, which says that Mercury is safe, Melamine is safe, Cyanuric Acid is safe, BP-A in plastic food containers is safe, Sodium Fluoride is safe, ETC!

  • There are a lot of families that have evidence that there children became autistic immediately after vaccination. The Poling family settled a case out of court that clearly indicated that vaccines have caused autism. But the judge was very careful in explaining that it was only responsible in this particular case. And this is also a clear indication of all of the fears regarding liability in this case. While it may be true that childhood vaccination may save lives, it comes at a cost.

  • Anyone who has any doubt about vaccines causing autism should google the Simpsonwood transcript.

  • It is not anecdotal if more and more parents, such as the Polings, actually see and document the onset of neurological damage that occurs immediately after their child was vaccinated. And it is not entirely anecdotal that all the children who have been diagnosed with autism have also been vaccinated. Why should we explicitly trust doctors and researchers to tell us the truth when it might not be in their best interest to do so? The legal liability alone is a very intimidating fact for them.

  • Why cant there be a pretest for children before they are vaccinate to see if they are susceptible to a bad reaction? The Polings daughter suffered mitochondria suppression which the court agreed caused her autism. But the court was very careful to state that only this little girl had a genetic disposition to suffer mitochondria suppression.

  • It does not take a rocket scientist to see that the court is trying to prevent a massive class action suit against the CDC and the pharmaceutical companies. And a massive law suit against the CDC and the pharmaceutical companies is not the first answer we need. We need to have it proved and explained to the public in terms that everyone can understand exactly why vaccines do not cause autism.

  • If you cant explain the precise nature of the reason you want people to put their childrens fate in the hands of strangers, then you have failed to help solve this incredibly dangerous problem.

  • And I am sure that epidemiological data may not be easily understood by everyone in the population, but isn't there someway to break it down into terms that some of us could understand? Simply to have someone in a white lab suit, who looks very scientific and well educated, state that there is no relationship between vaccines and autism is not a very educational experience for most consumers. If anything, it increases the suspcion that there is a problem.

  • I could be wrong but I don't think that "anecdotal evidence is science based evidence". I think anecdote basically means story. There's no controlled trial-no isolated variables. I think there is also anecdotal evidence for the veracity of Scientology and Mormonism. Does that mean that there is scientific evidence for the truth of Scientology and Mormonism. Oh, there is also anecdotal evidence that Elvis is still alive. I don't believe that her statement is a solid one.

  • Anyone who has any doubt about vaccines causing autism should google the Simpsonwood transcript.

  • @rogueweapon And you know what they found, no statistically significant link between thimerosal and autism.

  • A relatively small percentage of children who are getting vaccinated will become autistic. Exactly why they are becoming autistic is being clouded by those parties who have the most to loose as a result of legal liability. These autistic children are the collateral damage that is the result of vaccination. As cruel as this fact is, it is the reason that the experts, that is, the doctors and the CDC, do not really want to cast any doubt on the safety of the vaccination program.

  • In their purely scientific reasoning, it would be better to ignore the relationship between vaccinations and autism, than to frighten all the parents in the country who might then not get their children vaccinated. These same experts believe that it is far less worse for the population to suffer a few autistic children than to risk an outbreak of epidemics that they say would cause a huge number of deaths.

  • But when you are the parent of an autistic child, when you are the one parent in one hundred and fifty that has to raise an autistic child, the collateral damage theory is tough to accept. And there is very little money available for the families of autistic children. Most parents whose children are diagnosed with autism, usually divorce.

  • So before you think all of this talk about the relationship between autism and vaccinations is being fabricated so the parents of autistic children have someone to blame, or they are looking for easy money, check out the Poling family. And ask yourself a some questions. Such as: Do doctors always tell the truth? And is there such a thing as a medication that doesn't have a side effect? And what is the one thing that all autistic children have in common around the world: vaccinations?

  • If you believe an ex-pornstar about autism more than a physician, then I feel sorry for both you and your child.

  • dude she's what's she's done with her son has worked and thats enough for alot of people.. i dont think all the shots need to be given the kids.

  • Does this say anything about the anti-vaccinators? Their spokeswoman is a porn-star. All due respect to the pornographic industry, but I'm not sure it qualifies you as a medical expert. Would you rather listen to your doctor or a porn-star?

  • Thats like saying "because she's a prostitute she has bad eyesight". And you trust doctors? My freinds wife was given 'FLOURIDE' tablets to give her kid because he's teething! You trust the dope dealers, child killers and industry that deliberately makes us all sick. 88% of all illnesses in the US is FOODBORNE! Watch the movie(s) SICKO and SUPERSIZE ME. Then say you still trust the AMA and FDA. Doesnt it just seem a little wierd that suddenly SO MANY children are having the same problems?

  • Don't you silly people realize that this is all a part of making the populations sick and in support of the new world order; you know those quiet little rich/elite groups; Bilderbergs, Carlyle ring a bell anyone?

Chemtrails?? Don't you people get it yet?

    Wake up already!

  • mich307. Some of us choose to make decisions based on science and rational observation. Conspiracy theory, gossip and easily debunkable claims are horrible ways to plan your child's health decisions.

PS. Channeling spirits for information is so 14th century..

  • Both of my children are considered severly Autistic. They were both fine until they had that MMR shot. They both crashed literally within two days. No more talking. No more smiles. No more anything. It's taken a long time, and a shit load of hard work to even get my 5 1/2 year old daughter to be able to say mama.I totally believe that Big-Pharm is responsible for doing this to my babies. It's to bad it took a celebrity to shed light on all this, but I'm glad someone did. Fuck Big-Pharm.

  • The signs of autism are difficult to detect until 2 or 3 years of age. Countless studies have shown no relationship between vaccination and autism. If your first child was so damaged immediately after their vaccination why did you repeat it on your second child?? More likely you retrofitted your memories to fit the beliefs you formed *after* their autism diagnosis, with all due respect. Your anger and frustration are misplaced. Spreading pseudo-science and panic harms children.

  • i personnaly believe lyme disease could be the cause behid autism it is worth looking into my son has autism and now ive been diagnosed with lyme so i believe he has lyme induced autism and thee has been other cases of it.

  • Autism is not a disease, i personally think it's a genetic flaw-not something cause by vaccines

Jenny McCarthy is full of bullshit, she should be concerned about her son but should stop blaming his problems on vaccines

how many teenagers or small children have all been vaccinated with the exact same vaccines and they are perfectly fine

  • autism went form a rare condition to a major epidemic. 1 out of 6 male children is coming down with it. don't get your info form the TV, they won't expose the pharmaceutical companies because it will cost them advertising revenue. Do some research on the internet, it looks like jenny is right.

  • Show the research that autism is becoming an epidemic. No study shows that. Yes more children are being re-classified under the wide umbrella of autism as we learn to recognize this disorder.

  • I love Jenny McCarthy

  • She's good naked. Otherwise she should STFU about autism and vaccines. Thank good for the far more talented and beautiful Amanda Peet.

  • I hate Jenny McCarthy....

  • It's up to her as a mother to find out the truth. If everyone just ignores everything and just believes everything the Government tells them, the world will be in even worse trouble than it already is. Anytime the Government makes something "mandatory" it should be questioned!!!

  • I agree 100%.

  • Did you guys see the Oprah she was on where there was also a mother of 2 boys w/ autism? The difference between the 2 mothers was that one is a former bunny and the other is an educated pediatrician. The pediatrician looked at the research and thought logically and realistically about the topic. Yes, Jenny is a mother, however, so are other MUCH more educated people whose views we don't hear.We hear her rant b/c she is an ignorant loud mouth.Listen to her if you want, but please not ONLY her.

  • What a dumb bitch. Anecdotal evidence is NOT scientific evidence.

The thing she keeps saying over and over is 10 SHOTS IN 1983. NOW WE HAVE 36 SHOTS!

That doesn't say ANYTHING you bitch. You are doing nothing but leading people to believe paranoid based bullshit.

  • And you're doing SO much to sway people away from her by using profanity to express your views. Way to go Jethro!

  • watch this, it's already been admitted that vaccines cause autism and asperger's syndrome.

    get educated

  • There's no scientific evidence to prove that claim.

Jenny McCarthy is a dumb, ignorant bitch.

  • sounds like you're the one being dumb and ignorant.

Australian studies show that when infants are vaccinated with thiomerasol, they are at a higher risk of developing neurological symptoms. Here are the numbers:

    Thiomerasol Vaccine vs. No Thiomerasol

    AUTISM = 2.5:1

    SPEECH DISORDER = 2.9:1

    MENTAL RETARDATION = 3.3:1

    PERSONALITY DISORDER = 2.5:1

    "THINKING ABNORMALITY" = 5.4:1

    ATAXIA = 2.8:1

Source: Dr Richard Stuckey, MB BS DRCOG

  • rbledsaw, One mavericdoctor claims a link you think its proof, every other study claims its not, you think they're ignorant. Thats not scientific proof, thats cherry picking.

  • you guy's claim that there hasn't been a study linking the two. i present the ONLY study that has yet been made. and because the results DOES link thiomerasol to not only autism, but a number of other neurological disorders, i am cherry picking?

you just have your head up your ass.

  • Hi RBledsaw. Include a reference to the original study with Dr Richard Stuckey cant seem to find it. Secondly, you are completely wrong to state no studies have been conducted on the topic. Thirdly thimerosol was removed from vaccines years ago with no change in autism rates.

  • November 22, 2003. The New England Journal of Medicine published a retrospective study done in Denmark that involved over 500,000 children. The study provides "strong evidence against the hypothesis that MMR vaccination causes autism."

  • Danish researchers examined data on 956 children diagnosed with autism from 1971 to 2000. They said the autism incidence rate climbed steadily from less than one child per 10,000 in 1990 to nearly 5 per 10,000 in 1999, seven years after thimerosal was removed from vaccines in Denmark.*

  • "Thimerosal has been eliminated from childhood vaccines in most industrialized countries," said lead author Dr. Kreesten Meldgaard Madsen. "If indeed thimerosal was an important cause of autism, (autism rates) should soon begin to decline in these countries."

  • There are several more reports showing *no link* between vaccinations and autism rates, but Ive already begun cluttering this thread. The information is out there. Whether or not you chose to listen to science, or scare mongering hysteria is up to you.

  • interesting. But 5/10000 is a lot lower that 1/150 in the US where thimerosal is still used in some vaccines. Of course it could be something else, but it's pretty weird that the kids deteriorate so rapidly in the days following the shots...

  • "but it's pretty weird that the kids deteriorate so rapidly in the days following the shots..."

Is this based on scientific statistical observations, or angry parents looking back 'fitting the pieces' together?

  • It would be pretty hard to do that study. "Mrs Smith would you like to participate in a study to see if children really develop symptoms of autism in the days following the MMR vaccine?" If you think parents are afraid of the shots now...
