  • good one

  • Welll welll wellll; guess who made it to the WCWS this year,! BAMA, Look who didnt even make it to regionals HAWAII. Hahah, I was at this game, I give all the credit to Hawaii but still, This would have and should have been Alabamas game, If it wasnt for that girl Alabama would had made it.

  • @lizzylovelikecrazie WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.......... What a poor sport........ Hawaii was simply the BETTER team. Its not like it was one and done on a neutral field............HAWAII WON 2 OUT OF 3 AT ALABAMA.........SUCK ON THAT............HA HA

  • @lizzylovelikecrazie Hawaii last year, Florida this year...........Florida won 2 out of 3............Hawaii did it better........Hawaii won 2 out of 3 at Alabama.............Enjoy your summer vacation...........ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Roll Tide :o)

  • oh well im a bama fan.. not trying to take anything away from hawii... they worked theyre butts off just to get there and they deserved it, but bama couldve won in the second game if kelsie wouldve pitched that game

  • @dustin7548 Please, predicting what could of or should of happened is desperate and lame, for all we know, Dunn could have started the game and allowed ten homeruns. Game three validiating my point, she started, Bama lost..... Get over it, whats in the past is history, you should be looking foward to this upcoming tournament as you guys have a great chance at winning the whole thing.

  • it's how you say woman in Hawaiian,....Wahine=Woman....and Kane is Men...thats how the bathrooms are labeled in Hawaii, so if you're ever there, make sure you go in the right bathroom lol

  • what kind of freikin name is wahine... sounds like a bunch of quiers...lol

  • k there not BOTH biased.. just tha one tha talks more is biased . she really shud b fired

  • @FreeMasonJr you posted the rule. yes, that's correct. BUT, the rule also claims that if the runner steps back TO AVOID OR DELAY A TAG BY A FIELDER, the runner is out. I don't know about you, but Jenna wasn't avoiding shit. Hawaii won that game fair and square.

  • Who gives a shit about the rules. She just hit a HOME FUKING RUN IN THE LAST INNING WITH TWO OUTS AND SHE WAS THE WINNING RUN. THATS EVERY SPORTS PLAYERS DREAM. BITCHES STOP HATTIN.

  • rainman... I posted the rule from the NCAA below. I had to know for sure, I dont like he-said she-said. You were right! Good on you. I had never seen it used like that before. PS. Being from the West Coast I been rooting for Hawaii, the Cinderella team this year.

12.4.11 When she steps back toward home plate to avoid or delay a tag by a

    fielder.

EFFECT—The ball is dead. Each runner must return to the last base

legally touched at the time of the pitch.

  • @FreeMasonJr do you really think they would call her out on a game winning hr? She didn't walk backwards that was the angle, but seriously you're a douche.

  • look @ 1:20. it's larry the cable guy!

  • Wahine does it again aganist Mizzou. GO BOWS!!!

  • BAMA WON. Poor officiating. Actually according the official rules, Alabama won the game. After she hits the ball which eventually lands fair, she begins to walk to first, THEN TAKES A STEP BACK TO HOME PLATE! Official rules, she is OUT, GAME OVER. A player may stop on their way to first but MAY NOT move back toward home plate, or she is out. Winner Bama. I'm no Bama fan, I have just seen it happen a thousand times.

  • @FreeMasonJr too bad

  • @FreeMasonJr Actually you are wrong....Hawaii won and 'Bama lost. Thats why Hawaii played against Mizzou Today and not 'Bama. Sounds like a case of sour grapes. Had it been reversed and 'Bama won that way... I doubt you would've said anything

  • @FreeMasonJr

yes i have heard about this rule but in this case it does not apply because the runner did not have any affect on the play. had there been the case where shes hits the ball to the pitcher and while the pitcher was trying to tag the runner she starts running backwards, that would be the necessary time the rule would take place because shes affecting the play being made by not running to 1st to avoid the tag.

  • @FreeMasonJr

its just like the base path rule. a runner must stay within a running zone or else the runner will be called out. however when a batter hits a double, u see them making wide turns when rounding 1st to give them a straight path to 2nd base but they never get called out for running outside the base path? thats because that action has no affect on the play being made. it is not preventing the defender from making a tag so hence the base path rule does not apply to the situation.

  • Repeat@1:12 LMFAO!!!

  • Chicken skin every time I view this video......... Hows the aunty (3:07) shi shi her self (top left corner) because so happy.........

    Shoots....

  • Yikes 7,000+ views already!

I'd love to see Hawaii bring this one home all the way to go with HPU's Div II title.

  • One of the best sports moments in the history of this state...only to be downplayed by two biased announcers...nonetheless congrats Wahine and thanks for this amazing ride

  • no need to apologize lions, it was a great game. I am a Hawaii fan and love the win, still keeping things in perspective, the series could have gone either way. Alabama is a powerhouse team in a powerhouse conference, so I as a Hawaii fan will humbly take this win.

Hey, look on the bright side, didn't your football team win a National Championship? Nuff said!!!

  • I was just saying that because I've had it called against my team in a game. I don't want to take anything away from hawai'i! They really deserved it! They are the best hitting team in college softball right now! Didn't mean to make all ya'll hawai'i fans mad...and as for the commentators...they know their stuff, but i think everyone was shocked about the hit and in the moment so absolutely nobody was paying attention to the batter.

  • Haha, I love this video. I keep seeing more stuff. Check out the lady at 3:07. She pee'd in her pants, LOL!

  • LOL, notice the sound effects at the 1:53 point as the ball drops down over the fense. Classic.

  • The Hawaii batters hit like men. Someone's done a good job working with them.

  • man that stacey nuveman is so retarded, if dunne could take back 2 pitches??? so if parnaby could take back 2 pitches we they would blanked bama. So stupid, they beat them in their own ball park after being on the mainland since may 10, they're just the better team, plain and simple

  • Comment removed

  • @caboman99 Good point caboman99, that was a dumb comment. In a close game, every team could take back two pitches and change the outcome. Like you said, if we could take back two pitches we'd of beat 'em in a shut out.

  • wow, i could do a better job at broadcasting than this ESPN person.

    Show some emotion!

  • WOW! Strictly Awesome! To all Hawaii Baseball, Softball you make us all proud!!! (No Ka Oui)

  • EXCELLENT X 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AURIGHT!!! Wahine

    I M U A!

    aloha

  • Go Bows!!! What else can I say?? These girls worked hard throughout their regular season, and worked even harder during the post-season!! I was listening to the game on ESPN 1420AM and I was overjoyed when Jenna hit that ball out of the park!! Congratulations Wahine!! You have made Hawaii proud!! Good luck in World Series!! I'm behind you all the way!! GO BOWS!!!!

  • get over it bammers, you got your ass handed to you.

  • @lionssoftball33 At first I was concerned about that too, so I looked it up. The batter-runner would be out (going back towards home) only if she is avoiding or delaying a tag. So Jenna was OK.

  • We were screaming and jumping up and down at my house!!!! It was an amazing win. Soooooo proud of the Wahine. (and men and HPU) Go HAWAII!!!!! By the way, Alabama has nothing to be ashamed of. What a class act school. They said only good things about Hawaii after they got their hearts broken. Aloha Alabama!!!

  • bama = gone

  • J ROD!!!

  • DONT TRY TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THEM THEY BEAT ALABAMA FAIR AND SQUARE DONT GET ALL TECHNICAL AND TRY TO JUSTIFY WHY ALABAMA LOST STRAIGHT UP THE WAHINE WAS THE BETTER TEAM THIS WEEKEND THATS IT DEAL WITH IT!

    GO BOWS!!!!!!!!

  • CONGRATS RAINBOW WAHINE!

I AM SO SICK OF THIS MAINLAND PEOPLE NOT GIVING OUR SCHOOL CREDIT WE HAVE TALENT AND TODAY WE PROVED IT THE NUMBER 16TH TEAM IN THE NATION BEAT THE NUMBER 1 TEAM POINT PROVEN LION YES ALABAMA WAS A GREAT TEAM BUT ITS THE WAHINE WHO ARE THE AMAZING TEAM

  • great game.

  • 1:02 Classic... GO WAHINE!!!

  • chee hooo!!!! u go grrls! congrats on a great win!

  • attaway to represent the 808State BABY!

  • go F yourself, lionssoftball33. only an ump with a major stick up his ass would call that on a walkoff homerun...

  • @poidog2 seriously? how mature! i said congrats just pointin out the rules...

  • great job to hawai'i but if you really know the game of softball Jenna Rodriguez should be out. You are not allowed to go up the first baseline then go back towards homeplate. Umpires shouldve been watching that. but congrats. the rainbow wahine beat an amazing team

  • @lionssoftball33 But doesn't that only pertains to if the first baseman has the ball ?bcuz she could of simply said that she thought that ball was going to go foul so she was going to go back to the plate.

  • @lionssoftball33 Shut the fuck up faggot.

  • @lionssoftball33 she just took a step to see if it was going out, there was nothing illegal about it

  • @lionssoftball33 no disrespect to you, but if that was illegal, I'm sure the two olympic gold medal softball players and espn analysts would've called it. NOONE said anything because it was obviously legal. Hawaii deserved everything they got because they've earned it. I know you didnt mean any disrespect, and I'm sorry people were rude to you. But Hawaii deserves to have their moment . Thanks

  • @sunshineyrainbow VERY WELL SAID!!!

  • @lionssoftball33 Could not find it in rule 12 (or anywhere else). You may have been thinking of the rule if a batter-runner is trying to avoid a tag going to 1st base.

  • This was the best game ever. Now I can watch it since I live in Oklahoma

  • This just made my day : )

  • cheeeeeeeeeeee
