This is just my opinion, but having read several biographies of M-A the movie focussed very much on the frivolous side of of this tragic figure. Though Kirsten Dunst was very believable as the young M-A I think the really interesting part of M-A showing her real strenght of character was after her arrest - where the movie ends - and the harrowing events that culminated in her execution. A Cate Blanchett would be ideal for the older M-A.

i don't think we should be like that era, but fashion sense yes im there with ya. During that era ppl were really conservative so no to that... marie antoinette was too liberal for her era which lead to her downfall. i love her she was a feminisit!!! her life was tragic though, she was a queen that had it all but at the end lost everything. this proves that money isnt everything.
