it is obvious that the pilot is using the planes built in speaker to monitor the com's

maybe it isnt enforceable .however it is HIGHLY recommended for a pilot of a GA aircraft pilot to use a headset .they may communicate with the built in speaker and mic

But she deosnt have a built in earplugs to protect her inner ear hair cells from exposure to elevated sounds .

Most light aircraft exceed the 80 decibel even when its idle .

@DJK290 I may have slighty differant rules here in america then in canda, however i did look up the part from candas rule book (which i wud quote but its to long to post) nowhere does it say you need a headset, it states that if u have radios you must communicate on and monitor the correct frequency, you can hear the radio coming thru the speakers of the plane and most planes have a handheld mic to use instead of a headset, i personally prefer using the headset however, it is much easier

Here in Australia and most other countries (I know for certain JAR and I would assume FAA regs) it will be a recommendation but not something enforceable. For example - here it appears in CASAs Civil Aviation Advisory Publications but not enforceable as a Civil Aviation Regulation (ie - law). But being a flight sim ace I'm sure you know that....

Who said that this is dangerous?? 0G's are fun. Hell, I love areobatics as much as the next adrenaline junky, and I hope to become a fighter pilot someday (I'm currently in AFROTC at my university). However I think the fact that the guy in the back was throwing his stuff around is a hazard. Having your cockpit prepped for those kinds of manuevers is part of a successful execution.

Not only are the passengers experiencing 0 G, so is the oil and the fuel, the pick for each is at the bottom of the sums. Not only can starve the engine of gas but the engine is running with 0 oil pressure, not a good idea on a $18,000 engine.

Negative G's are dangerous in aircraft that aren't approved for them.

I can't tell exactly what type of plane this is.. but it looks like your average single-engine piper (Warrior or Archer, etc). Either way, the engines on these small training planes can and will fail under enough negative G's.

Don't get me wrong.. negative G's are awesome fun, especially for thrill-seeker passengers.. but I stopped doing them after a friend had an engine failure doing one for some friends.

Most GA aircraft are certified for (depending on category) a certain level of negative G's. So a little negative G loading on an aircraft is not necessarily bad for it. Most fuel systems have accumulators before the fuel selector valve, giving you a little bit of time to run negative. Your level of rating doesn't mean you are any more knowledgeable about certification of aircraft. CFII also...

This was not a spin demo. The aircraft is simply nosed over at a rate that exceeds 9.8m/sec/sec. You are desending faster then gravity is pulling down(briefly) That's why you see the item "floating"

I go to a 141 flight school as well and we do not do spin training until CFI, because of the reg that says if you go up with the intent of doing spins you must be wearing a parachute.
