Why aren't there varied degrees of Nerdom? I mean, yes, I am a nerd. I run 5 different distros of Linux, 2 of which are my own flavor :D and have made a habit of mod-ing every electronic in my house. I can understand your humor completely. Sometimes "nerdy" jokes go over the head of some people who were either distracted, extremely serious, or in this case, slightly drunk. @guzguz21 A nerd studies more... it's a classification. Most of the new age nerds accept it and live with their firneds. There are part and part. I myself hang out with a mixture of epole and realize there is a difference in attitude between people. The people more worried about grades and their future are the people I name nerds. They are my friends. I'm a nerd. It's great fun. more people should try it

I can understand your humor completely. Sometimes "nerdy" jokes go over the head of some people who were either distracted, extremely serious, or in this case, slightly drunk. I laugh when I see a t-shirt saying "Your reading skill has increased by +5 pts" Most of my friends have either outwardly nerdy characteristics or closet nerd interests & they're some of the most interesting people I know. Don't do things that make you feel FAKE; people can sense that.

hell yeah, I can't say that I'm nerdy, but I also love videogames, like many people, and if there is one thing I know is why being normal? I really hate people that discriminates others by the way they are just because they're not "normal".
if we think, in the world, to win in life, you'll have to make the difference, in other words, be different form the others to become more shiny. and this "normal" is so strange, how can you distinguish a normal person if everyone is different?

Well, I know that this is a bit late... But as a fellow nerd, I understood the jokes quite well, and actually found them amusing. Don't know what to say for the sunglasses though... But I can relate. I ALWAYS wear t-shirts with geeky sayings on the front, which often embarrass my friends. So people write my geek-hood off too.

Yes Computer Geek here & I love it. I call the so call normal people regulars & I like being different because to me that's what it is all about & if the stiff regulars don't like it,who cares as long as us geeks stay us & do what we want when we want because we run everything anyway.I usually tell them not to trip because when there tech goes haywire on these walking pieces of dumb, they come rushing towards us, so we are the best of the best plain & simple.The Geeks Rule & the regulars (NOT).
