I am completely disgusted with what these so called artists are doing. Tissue engineering as a science has the potential to save millions of lives. What these artists are doing is merely to cause alarmist reactions. These reactions may cause this science to slow down. This in turn may cause countless lives to be lost. In a age where countless people are dying because of a lack of organs. I think these people with their obvious hidden agenda should live in the dark age where they belong.

if science slows down because people are disgusted by tissue engineering and these two are exposing it, then so be it-- it's bringing essentially what scientists do into the limelight-- they aren't the ones causing science to slow down- it would be tissue engineering itself. it's obvious you haven't stopped to consider even for a moment why this work is important. it causes alarmist reactions because they're raising serious questions about where we should draw the line.
