I am not simply clicking on a line I have pretty much duplicated the example image and yet I lasso the arm and it selects the lot Grrr... Frustrated or what? I will be uploading a video to rival angry German kid soon.

Does the image have to be drawn in toon boom?

I draw images using Art Rage and then colour them using PS and I want to start animating, please reply :) thanks

Next to the button floppy disk with the "+" on it there is a button on the right than click it.

i know NO ONE agrees with me, but i like frame by frame animation a lot better. cut-out is just too annoying and it looks weird.

@Kyorere23 I think most people think Frame by Frame looks better but the reason cut-out is so heavily used as it's easier and far quicker to produce a quality animation.

Frame by frame my be your preference, but it takes teams of pros to do in months, what one guy can do in weeks.

when i do another frame and cut the arm (or whatever) and press f9 and select arm it comes up with an error.

EXCELLENT - a really clear demo of how to create cutout animation with TBA. I use TBS4.5 but the principles are the same.

What I've found to be very useful is to grab TBS tutorials (there are LOTS out there) and to save them to my HD. I can then watch them offline and pause them much more easily when and where I need to. By doing that, I've gathered a library of over 30 helpful video tutorials.

If your not an artist it's possible to get a all position model from daz studio,take screen shots of model in all positions with white backgrounds,and incorporate them into toon boom program.
