hi. i was using camstudio and making and watching the avi videos with winamp. all of a sudden, winamp wont work. i can play old winamp videos i made but not the new ones i am making. my pc said winamp has stopped working but it still plays old winamp videos. my camstudio will record and store but i can't play the videos. the ones that work show up in thumbnail size with the video content but the new videos only show the winamp lightening icon in the middle of the video

@LILCJ0725 first switch it to an swf recording. Then make sure your width of the region is divisible by 4, and the hight divisible by 2. hope that helps.

Hello m8 am geting a error: error recording avi current compressor. use default compressor? realy enoying thing but nice vid i can se it working well for you enny clue for this? i got a quadcore and drive on win 7
@Lifebreaker09 This is going to sound like a really bad fix, but just switch it back to default when it prompts you, then switch it back and start recording.

why? because u should have to use the settings on the film, 40 set key.. 25 capture frames.. and 40 playback. try this on the film too
