wow! I was pleasantly surprised hearing this song sang by you guys! who is the girl on the right most first row? whats her name? is she still with infinito?
Only You You the promise that comes along a star The only dream wished from God to be with you in every moment You are the love in day and night You are the hope of light from darkness, relief from hardship and sadness (chorus) Life is heaven if I'm to kiss you What a joy if I'm to see you With you night seems bright You're a dream Only you You are the love in day and night You are the hope of light from darkness, relief from hardship and sadness My own translation for our friends.
The blending you guys made is really really good. We also sang thins in one of our competitions, yet we didn`t win. I guess you sang it better than us :)
... Just proves how beautiful OPM music really is ... Thumbs up for Infinito rendition of this song !!! gave me goosebumps ... HEBAT !!! (fabulous !!! )
'Only You' is title in English.. it's one of the most favorite wedding songs here in the Phils.. and whenever they sing it there, everybody go tearry-eyed.. :D
you guys really sound great.. i cant help from watching ur video every time i visit youtube.. u really get the nice interpretation it is full of emotion.. by the way im noel jasmin from philippines i am also a choir member.. the girl that was focused in 0:53 is so beatiful... what is her nam? :)
This song is in itself a very emotional song. This group sang it very well that it permeates through my skin and titillates my heart. And to think they are not Filipinos! Perfect rendition!
my GOd this is better than the version of madrigal singers.. are from the philippines guys?..... you sung it in a legatto way.. and it is really difficult.. congratz...
I found the Madrigal Singers' version as it was recorded but this is the better rendition. I salute you guys...you have done an excellent job!!! More Filipino love songs please...
This is a wonderful rendition of a Filipino song..I come back to this video every now and then..beautiful music and the singers' expression alone gives out the message of the lovely song..thank you...sing out more of these beautiful songs from your hearts..they reach out..
Love the dynamics and control @2:16 and @4:08 ... perfect unison and harmony. Nobody has a star complex, nobody shouts and they sing as if they speak the language and know its meaning.
Nice rendition..Guyz kip it up! You give all ur best!
But i suggest your movements must be in proper! The Quality is nice! and YOu feel the song maybe so that your movement can affect your voice... I'm also a Chorale Memberour conductor said that we must control our movements.. Kip it up Guyz! You sounds like UP VOCAL ENSEMBLE!

Hey Avin, since finding your video, I looked at how other choirs compare with your version and in my opinion Infinito's version is probably the best. I have yet to hear Philippine Madrigals version, (couldnt find it in youtube). I listen to you guys whenever I'm online, not just this song but your others also . You guys are great, keep on singing.
wow, an indonesian choir singing filipino song. and you know what? you really sound too good!!!!!!!!! Am a choir director here in the philippines and i just can't help but to appreciate the beauty of your performance. you really gave justice to the lyrics of the song. keep up the good works, and more power to all of you!
Satu persembahan kegemilangan ini! Napaluha ako huhuhu (It made me cry.) This is indeed a great performance. Mabuhay po kayo Infinito! We love to hear more Filipino renditions made by you. =)
I'm Filipino, and I'd like to visit the Grand mother land (Indonesia) one day. I don't know if there's such a term as grand-mother land lol but if there's one, Indonesia would be it since our ancestors came from there.
How's it going Avinkesuma? I'm in a choir myself, so all the more I can appreciate the beauty of the way you sang this song. The crescendos in this song, expressions, and most of all the Heart, you(the choir) sang it like the wind. While you're singing this, a picture of the wind blowing on a grass field came to mind.
nice bravo, its not deffrient from filipino choral group, but i like the arrangements of the voice, very much proud of those who make the techniue ,you give the justtice on this wonderful music piece, its not ashame to be sung by the foriegn choral, 5 star for the choral,5 star for the arranger!good job!
actually the choral arranger of this song is a filipino. He is a famous arranger in the Philippines, and he is an alumnus of The Philippine Madrigal Singers, his name is Sir Eudinece Palaruan
This is one of the best group in singing a popular Filipino Tagalog song I like the dynamics of the group. Good control and lots of passion in singing the song. Hmmm I can't take my eyes off Rini hehehe good job!
in all south east asian language tagalog language from the philippines is the best language and it is easy to speak tagalog language than other language like indonesian malaysian thai vietnam and etc. basic tagalog words:
ikaw-you, ako-I, mahal kita-I love you, puso-heart, salamat-thank you,bituin or btiwin-stars, araw-sun, isa-one,dalawa-two,tatlo-three,apat-four, lima-five,six-anim,pito-seven,walo-eight,siyam-nine,sampu-ten,ate-big sister,kuya-big brother,nanay-mother,tatay-father, tao-human
This is my simplistic word for word translation of the song for the benefit of our Indonesian brothers and sisters. (The English translation does not give justice to the deep emotional Tagalog lyrics).
Yeah, it IS a beautiful song and arrangement, and you guys sang it rather super :) I like how light, clean, and blended you sounded. Very soothing!
I'm interested now in seeking asian choirs that rock like your choir. I'm Filipino, and you know how there seems to be a Filipino choir in every corner there in the Philippines lol. Hooray for Indonesia for choirs like yours!
No we're not. Infinito Singers are not a representative of any schools or institution. We are just a bunch of people who love to sing a bit too much.. hehe
Sorry about that. I was just guessing 'coz one of the chorus members looks like my friend in Parahyangan. By the way ok lho performancenya.Proficiat dech buat anggota paduan suaranya. Peace bro from New York...
Next time, can we join (City University of New York chorus members ) for another festival? For the info that we can sing Indonesian folk song such as Manuk Dadali, Jali-jali and Tanduk Majeng. If you don't mind he..he..he..
Hahahaha!! Makasih ya Ben... Sakseus juga buat Terra Voce. Duh.. ngapain sih kaliber kalian masih ikutan festival lokal? Kasih kesempatan dong buat kami2 ini yang masih hijau :)
Well done. I'm Filipino and I can't say I'm surprised as we have a deep connection to Indonesia in terms of history and with the blood that's coursing through our veins. Sweet rendition. If there's one thing I know about Philippine choirs, it's that they sing from the heart. That is what truly makes their singing great. And I feel the same from your choir. As a dear friend of mine always tells me, "Sing not with your voice, but with your heart". Good job and keep it up!
Oh my goodness. That was just a superb rendition of Ikaw Lamang. Kudos to you guys. Hope to hear more Filipino songs, sang by your magnificent group in the future. Wonderful indeed!
the respect should really goes to your people's great talent in music and the beautiful melodies you have... Which are always a pleasure to sing them :)
Only you you are the promise (dream) own by a star my only dream from God i ask to be with you in every seconds you are the love in every night and day of my life you are my hope, a light from the dark all suffering and sadness will gone Life is heaven everytime i kiss you what a happiness everytime i see you in your side the night seems like day you are my dream. Only you
wow... my jaw just keep on dropping! you guys have audio and visual appeal as well. watching you sing the piece with full facial expressions and body movements complement your beautiful music... you sing from the heart!
i will keep track of your vids from now on... am now your big filipino fan ;D
For a foreign choir to sing a filipino piece, I can say that this one is really exceptional. The enunciation of words is correct, perfect balance of voices, good dynamics... and good interpretation as well...

Yes it is the same Eudenice Palaruan. :) We are fortunate enough to be able to sing one of his arrangement. I was told that he is also an alumnus of the Madz..
Lovely Interpretation. I am a Filipino but when I went to Malaysia I found out that we share some words like anak and it made me smile. I even like the song Kekasih Gelapku by Ungu =) I have more of these choir pieces. Just send me a message if you want some.
Thanks for the offer. We'd love to sing another Philippine's song. by the way, we're Indonesian and the song you that like by Ungu is also from Indonesia.
Mabuhay kayo! I really liked how you sang this song. Its one of my favorite choir pieces. Visit us here in the Philippines our people would definitely love you sing this piece.
It's so nice of you for offering us to visit the Philippines. Hopefully in the future we'll be able to. And if any of your choir would like to come visit and/or hold a concert in Jakarta, we'll be happy to help... or perhaps be the opening choir to sing, of course, Ikaw Lamang:)

Lovely Interpretation. I am a Filipino but when I went to Malaysia I found out that we share some words like anak and it made me smile. I even like the song Kekasih Gelapku by Ungu =) I have more of these choir pieces. Just send me a message if you want some.
