One of most important album in my life, without any doubt,. Eno simply brings you to another world laying moods and textures that only he can do. Not to mentions Robert Fripp's phenomenal.guitar work.

@britelite2657 Bobbin about on the open sea somewhere, passing islands being tossed about by whales, casting shadows from silver moonlight with nothing but the stars above and the dark ominous sea below,bobbing bobbing bobbing about, fish seek it's protection maybe as other detritus of the sea congregate with it only to eventually wash ashore by a mountainous sea on some abandoned atholl never to be seen again...or just maybe some day it's pulled from the damp sand with the word Arena inside..

@HAPPYTHELEAF that's an ironic statement to make on an ambient artists's piece of music... I was just thinking about how Brian Eno is sort of beyond emotional bondage, though he expresses feeling without words, with a deft understanding for experiencing them from a place on high..

Those guitars (slightly distorted guitars I think they are called) were also used from Mike Oldfield in his songs (in late years). I love Brian Eno's brilliance with choosing sounds than remain with you even after you have heard the actual piece of music... Fantastic!

Its like Eno is predicting the flow in which music will take with this album, 22 years ahead of its time. the first real experimental electronic music to go along with rock.
