I believe to be diagnosed with AIDS you have to have three contributing factors. HIV, T-Cell count of 250 or lower and a opportunistic infection.

You couldn't eradicate the disease by killing those infected. It's present in nature now and effects other animals.

i read the article, it's really not as promising as the title makes it. apparently, 1 in 1000 people are genetically immune to aids. so the marrow was from one of those lucky donors.
