I'm not a Christian, but isn't part of "faith" believing wholeheartedly in the truth of your religion? If there's even a shadow of doubt that your religion isn't the "right" religion, then do you really believe at all? Perhaps this is relevant to the scripture pertaining to a mustard seed. Is this why we can't do wondrous works? He said we could if we believed. Faith the size of a grain of mustard seed? How small is that? We can't manage to even move an anthill, let alone a mountain!
