She's not gay, but she doesn't want to hurt gay fans and gay friends, that's obvious. Her best friends are those who have been with her all her life and she has to protect those and she has managed it well down through the years. She's also been accused of being man crazy etc. I think she's certainly addicted to work,that's her first love. As she says herself, there is no such thing as bad publicity. If they're talking about you, it keeps you hot, that's why she never gets angry about lies.

What has her sexuality to do with her talent as a singer, songwriter or actress? I understand peoples natural curiosity about such things, just as I understand the need by the gay community to gain as much support as possible by outing those of popular stature who profess to be straight while actually being gay.
