I must say, I never heard Bunny's version until today, and was always in love in MJB's version. However, after having Debarge's version on repeat, there's an authenticity to it that makes me prefer it. Of course, it's MJB's version that takes me back to Freshman year of high school, but I actually feel as if i'm transported back with Debarge!
