@1bojanbojan I think the best run ever (at the track) was my last video on April 2nd. That was on a 150 shot (Not the NX kit anymore so it wasn't making 150hp). Unfortunately the track wasn't running the time clock on 4/2/11 and they didn't prep the track AT ALL. The car was in the 6800repm rev limiter in 4th when it was trapping @ 128mph. You can see the slow mo in that video of it smoking the tires at 1/2 track. The car is nasty on the street but no more street racing.

@ajhnson no disrespect taken. The original video had the sound of the car but youtube cut the audio due to copywrite issues so I then had to load one of their songs. That was before I knew how to get around it. I have plenty other videos where you can hear the car, check them out!

@01gt46 u ran a 12.5 @ 111 on motor in a 2v 4.6? thats very impressive. verrry impressive. what do u have for heads and cam? cuz im building my motor next year. im slapping a 100 shot on in about a month. car is jsut a bolt on car with 3.73's right now. made 260 rwhp and 300 rwtq. im gunna do heads, cam, build a shortblock and run a 200 shot next year. but for the summer im gunna mess around with the 100 shot.

@hastings631 thanks, actually my 1st pass with this setup was a 12.47. That was also my 1st time at the track in about a year. Patriot Stage 3 heads and MPH custom grind NA cams. I also don't drive the car hard and never powershift. With some aggressive driving and weight reduction it should go deep deep 12's NA, if not better.

not using the parking brake. I've yet to figure out what that noise is, it sure sounds like I'm yanking the brake though... but I'm not.

Uhh...... Correct me if I'm wrong (doubt I am), emergency brakes go to the REAR wheels. Car is rear wheel drive. If he yanked it when he was doing the burn out, the tires wouldn't spin at all. Unless he some how rigged it to the front wheels.

4.10 gears? You are crossing the line in fourth?

I'm on 3.55 gears and (slippery) Nitto555Rs. With aluminum driveshaft, light, 17" wheels and control arms in the rear and 93 oct tune, I cut a 13.300 at 109 in my non-supercharged 3V.

I know what you mean about track prep. A little VHT goes a long way!

no tire will hook up on a cold track buy as long as it's prepped well, they do okay. That day they prepped the track once... at the beginning. The runs where I couldn't get it to hook, I was on nitrous which doesn't help matters. All in all they are a good tire, especially if you DD on them and see rain.

both, it's been dyno tuned and loaded into a handheld. It's spins to 6500 pretty easilly, unfortunately the power isn't so great at that high of an rpm.

I'm blown away! I have a 2000gt with approximately the same mods as you. I ran 13.8 with street tires(not DR) and full weight. I since added stage 2 cams and DR but haven't been to the track cuz the car isnt tuned yet, but I will soon! also, what gear u runnin? Keep it up, don't give up on the 2V!!

lol, I don't know if you noticed but while I was running NA I outran a blown 3V mustang, and gave a C6 Vette a 1/2 seond lead and still beat him, what excuse do they have? I guess you are upset because you weren't happy with your car and had to put a SBC in it...
